Amazing house! Very clean. We saw dolphins every day and even got to see the turtles hatch about 50 yards from our doorstep. Couldn't recommend this house more. Thank you!

Folly Perfection

This house is absolutely beautiful. Incredible location, awesome beach and just steps from your deck! Well appointed with every amenity and convenience. Close to water activities and easy access to all that Charleston has to offer, especially wonderful restaurants. We had a minor house issue that was very quickly responded to and fixed. Wonderful service. We loved our week here and hope to return!!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed this home. The kitchen was by far the best equipped kitchen we have encountered. The setting was quiet and relaxing which was our goal. The home was spacious with so many seating options. We would not hesitate to book again.

Incredible

We feel so lucky to have found this beautiful property to rent. It’s on the beach, gorgeous views from every room. In the mornings I’d drink my coffee inside while watching my kids boogie board in the ocean and even saw many dolphins! The house is beautiful, spacious, cozy and comfy. They stock it well with mostly everything you need, esp in the kitchen! We will def come again!!

On the beach..can’t ask for anything more

Amazing ocean views from every room. Can’t beat walking out to the beach from your own private deck. Comfortable beds, clean, lots of outside seating. We rented bikes and biked all over the island.

Great house; poorly maintained

The house is beautiful and very well located. However. Several important items were broken: including the dishwasher, one of the outdoor dining chairs, and the sliding door to one of the decks, which would not open at all, rendering the deck totally inaccessible. The management company was unresponsive and unhelpful. If you are going to charge top dollar for a property you should keep it in good repair.

Perfect

Perfect spot, there was nothing that the owners didn't think of at the house. Well appointed kitchen (so many of the rentals skimp here) and nicely decorated. Will stay again if I'm in Folly again.

Great House on Beach

Dolphin’s Folly is lovely. Clean, right on the beach, great view, and is 1 mile to downtown Folly Beach. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a relaxing time on the beach!

Excellent location, nice property but not very clean.

Location was absolutely beautiful and house is very comfortable. While the management company was very receptive and quick to respond, there were several issues. Circuit breakers were blown with none working in any of the bathrooms. Management quickly came and rectified the problem one I got them on the phone. Took time for that but did come quickly once notified. Upon arrival, kitchen was quite dirty. Floors were not mopped and very sticky. Most dishes, pots and pans were very dirty and needed washing before use. Decided to eat out for the majority of the stay. Kitchen cabinet had half full bottles of Gatorade left behind. Was not pleased to have to clean up prior guests garbage. First two days of visit were chilly particularly at night. Would have appreciated fireplace but it wasn’t working. Maintenance came on our last day for repair.

A little slice of paradise

I've rented a lot of properties over the course of time, but without a doubt this one was the best! This is a newer property with all of the amenities you would expect/need, with great access to the downtown Folly area, and direct access (walk out) to the beach. [From my experiences] online property pictures are taken right after renovation and don't necessarily reflect the current state; in this case the online pictures don't do this property justice - Better than expected. The view walking in the front door is literally breathtaking as you have a direct; unobstructed view of the ocean --- It appears as if the ocean is sitting outside of the living room. Speaking of views - There are (no exaggeration) 5 different settings in the home with direct views of the ocean - Including the upstairs bedrooms with their own decks and elevated ocean views. Every dining area (inside and out) have ocean views....Simply amazing! Then; there's the attention to detail from the homeowners. Everything that's needed was thought of/provided; storage locations were labeled; instructions for device operation (ex: fireplace) were provided; all of the minute details were thoughtfully considered. There are multiple options for enjoying the outdoors ranging from an open deck; to an enclosed/screened in eating area; to a screened in sitting area outside of the master bedroom. The beach access / area is located in a secluded area with other similar types of homes - No worries of beach over-crowding or congestion. Downtown is a short walk/golf cart ride away for restaurants/nightlife activities. I simply can't say enough about how impressed I was with this property...From my vantage point; our search is over; and we've found our "home away from home" for rest, relaxation, and Recuperation!

Beautiful!

This property was amazing! The views and the beach access you cannot beat! Just walk out the door and you’re on the beach! The town is a short distance with cute shops and good seafood restaurants. We will definitely be back!
