  • Welcome to the best of Folly Beach! Lounge in the hammock on the spacious front porch and enjoy beautiful views of Morris Island Lighthouse and glorious sunsets over the Folly River. Sunbathe, crab, fish and dolphin watch from the dock with floating dock. Boat, sail, jet ski, kayak and swim in the river. Walk 2 short blocks to the beach to enjoy the waves and sand! Papa's Paradise offers everything anyone could want in an island vacation. Additionally, you are just 11 blocks from the fun and shopping of Center Street and a mere 20 minutes from the history, charm, and beauty of historic downtown Charleston.

    Our 3 story house has 3 large bedrooms and 3 baths. The main living space is on the second and third floors. The primary bedroom, located on the second floor, has a king sized bed, huge walk-in closet, and separate vanity and bath area. The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs on the third floor and connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom, each with its own private vanity with sink. One bedroom has a king sized bed, and the other has 2 double beds.

    A spacious living room overlooks a large porch and the amazing Folly River. This front porch is complete with a family dining table, hammock, rocking chairs, and sofa area.
    Connected is a large, family-style dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

    There is a 2nd, smaller porch off of the dining room with a table for al fresco dining.

    The living room has two large sofas, one of which pulls out to a queen bed, 2 recliners, a large TV, and lots of family games, toys, puzzles and books.

    The front porch connects to both the living room and primary bedroom and comes complete with a hammock for reading, napping, or just hanging out. Also located on the front porch is a sofa area, rocking chairs, and a table for dining by the river.

    Feel free to bring your own boat, kayaks, paddleboards, or jet skis as well.

    There are numerous rentals available on Folly for golf carts, bikes, and other water sports. We've added lots of recommendations to our hospitality page. We also provide Wi-fi, cable TV, video/DVD players, and a charcoal grill.

We have stayed at four other houses at Folly Beach over the last seven years, and this one was the best overall for its spaciousness, location, and access to the river and beach. The view is beautiful and we loved having the dock for swimming and kayaking.

Beautiful property

Had an amazing stay here. We pulled out boat right up to the dock and it was so easy to walk to the beach. The back porch is perfect for sunsets. Will def use this place again if its available!

Amazing Getaway!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house over Memorial Day weekend. It was so busy in the island but we felt like we had a piece of quiet heaven back on the porch and on the dock. We brought our boat and spent time fishing and paddle boarding right off the dock, watched sunsets and saw so many dolphins! We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

Wonderful location

Beautiful views!!

This was our 5th time staying at this property only missing 2020 when they shut down the island. Kayaking the Folly River and getting close to the dolphins is amazing. The fishing is fun too.

Family reunion

Annual family reunion, had a wonderful time. So much space for all ten of us. Child-proof/safe for the youngest (4 years old). Incredibly easy to use our boat straight off the dock, love the huge kitchen for the food we made every day. Definitely would return.

Our Wedding

My elderly brothers & their wives came from Missouri to my wedding and stayed at this house. They were completely blown away by the property. The house is dated but still very Nice. The views are breathtaking. We fished on the dock and enjoyed the stay very much. There are a lot of stairs but worth it!

Beautiful Get-away

The picture do not do justice to the peace and beauty of this low country listing. We canceled plans on our first full day so we could enjoy the dock and nearby beach.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location. A quite cul-de-sac with beautiful river/marsh views. Short walk to the beach. The house was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are large and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Great Getaway

We came to Folly for my sister's wedding and a few of the family members stayed here for the weekend. Very spacious kitchen and living area. Quick beach access maybe 2 blocks away. There is a small market right down the road to grab some essentials. The marsh view and sunset are amazing. We sat out there every night to watch the sunset.

Beautiful and Secluded

Had a great time, this is in a beautiful spot, the back porch and dock can't be beat! Really the only thing that wasn't great was that there were lots of cockroaches on the first floor, especially the master bedroom. We still managed to thouroughly enjoy ourselves and other than that, I give this place 5 stars.

Fabulous views!! Quick access to beach too! Kids loved dock, fishing and crabbing too! Easy check in, great kitchen for cooking and being with one another! Plenty of seating , linens, comfy beds. We had a wonderful time.Felt at home and didn’t want to leave. House is a little dated but this added to the charm

Beautiful waterfront home in a quiet location with great views.

Beautiful and spacious home located on a quiet cul de sac with direct water access. My family loved this home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The river front dock was a nice quiet way to enjoy water views without being at the beach. That being said the beach was only a short walk away and at the quiet end of the island. Great property! We look forward to our next stay.
