Folly Vacation Laid Back Casual Beach Bungalow 209-B

  • Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, and NO parties or events.

    Completely new, renovated two-bedroom, one bath beach bungalow, located one block from Folly's busy Center Street where all the restaurants and night life are and only a short walk to the beach.

    There is plenty of room to relax in this newly renovated two-bedroom, one full bath beach bungalow. The living area is comfortably furnished with a leather queen size sleeper sofa, a couple of comfy chairs and a twin-size daybed for just relaxing or additional sleeping. Prepare your meals in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy in the dining area with table and six chairs. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. Each bedroom has a king size bed, upgraded linens, flat screen TVs, and custom cabinetry. The bathroom is full size with a large walk in shower and stocked with bath towels. The bungalow also has a stacked washer/dryer unit.

    This home is 1,100 Sq. Ft.

    The yard is beautifully landscaped, with a BBQ grill, dining table and chairs, private outdoor shower and completely fenced to offer plenty of space for the kids and/or dogs to play that come along. When you're ready to head to the beach, just grab the beach cart and two beach chairs.

    We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.

    This home has a private driveway for parking up to 3 vehicles, and is located 20 minutes to downtown Charleston, shopping, restaurants and much more.

Cute, clean, and stylish little bungalow that’s a close walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our first time not only staying at Folly but also not staying “beach front” on a vacation, we enjoyed our stay! The outdoor shower was a great place to clean up after beach time. I would have liked a covered seating area outside rather than an umbrella at the table for the rainy times we experienced, but it wouldn’t be a reason to not book at this economically smart bungalow.

Fantastic Getaway!

This was the perfect cottage for my husband, dog and I. We loved the outdoor area for coffee, and drinks in the evening. The bathroom shower was great and the outdoor shower was a great addition, too.

Great pet friendly place

This rental was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to all Folly has to offer. The fenced yard and location adjacent to a greenway and beach access made it even better; our 2 senior pups had a great time seeing and smelling their way around Folly! We would rent this property again!

Perfect Location

A nice weekend

Perfect Beach Get-away!

This house was absolutely perfect for our Folly Beach vacation! It was spacious, very clean, comfortable, huge shower, and in the perfect location for short walks to the beach or restaurants & shops. The property was extremely well located. Close to town and the beach. It was also great for our 3 dogs. the fenced in yard, green space out back and proximity to the beach made for a great time for them. The kitchen accoutrement was sparse, but we made do, and the bedrooms are quite small. But we slept well nevertheless.

Quick Trip to Charleston

Loved the property. The whole process from initial reservation through check out was flawless. Great location close to the beach and Center Street. Parking was very convenient which is challenging on Folly at times. The house was spotless when we arrived, beds were comfortable. First of hopefully 4 trips per year to see our Granddaughter for the next several years. Hope to be able to make use of this rental as often as possible.

Folly vacation

Our first vacation together was perfect, and our stay at 209 West Hudson was just the right location for us and our two dogs. The place offered everything we needed to unwind and relax! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals, wonderful shower with excellent water pressure, the yard was great for the dogs, beach access made it great to take the dogs walking twice a day, we were able to walk to restaurants (Alfredo’s is excellent for homemade Italian, the Washout has good food and is a great place to watch sports), easy walk to Bert’s for quick groceries. Overall a great place to stay! Highly recommend!!

I wish I had known it was a walk thru gravel to reach the house. We are elderly and not easy for us pulling a suitcase. Did not spend much time at the house. Only for sleeping.
