We stayed during a nor’easter, so we definitely stress-tested the property. Unfortunately, the front windows and door area leaked during the storm, causing water on the floor and a small patch of ceiling paint to fall. The management office responded quickly, but the “fix” was just a bucket and a few towels. Thermostats are confusing. Maybe a manual would help guests. There were also small ants in the bedrooms — easy to overlook for a beach house, but they can get into luggage. Since there aren’t dresser drawers, storage becomes a bit tricky. We also noticed dog hair on the bean bag chairs in the living room.On the positive side, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you’d need to cook, and the radiant floors in the bathrooms were a really nice touch. The location is excellent, close to both the beach and local restaurants. For the price point, it’s worth being aware of these issues, but with a little attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this could be a fantastic rental.
