Beautiful property on the beach. Complete with outside shower and washer and dryer. 4 bedrooms gave everyone their own personal space. Gorgeous view daytime and night-time!

Our family enjoyed our stay at SlowM’Ocean. The one complaint is there was no blind or curtain at the bathroom window and the house next door is very close with a window at the same height. I would stay at this location again. Thanks for your hospitality.

Perfect Location

Our #1 requirement was proximity to the beach. This house location is perfect, on a very quiet area, literally on the beach! The layout was great for our family of 7, with a large main living room/kitchen space with 4 bedrooms off of this space, 2 on each side. One set connected with a jack and jill bath, one set with a bath between, not connected. There were lots of boogie boards and sand toys to use which were appreciated. Some practical points, while there was a supply of TP, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, it wasn’t quite enough for our big family, with 4 girls. The room with the spiral staircase is a queen or full (not a king), I thought it was the master but it is not. The bedroom with the king and a balcony (possibly the master) does not have an TV. Also while there were lots of kitchen items, including a spice rack, there were not salt and pepper shakers which would have been nice. Lots of towels and wash cloths, and the ability to was in the nice front load washer/dryer. Overall, a very nice home and I would certainly stay again! Thank you!

This property was perfect for our family. We were happy to find that all the bedrooms and living spaces are on the same level. (I felt this was a little unclear in the listing.) The porch was amazing to sit on and watch the sunrise every morning. We also walked 2 miles on the beach to watch the sun set. We had an issue with the stove top and the internet, but I contacted the owners and someone came within a couple of hours to fix both issues. Love it here! Would definitely come again!

A Great Find, and Perfect Location

The only thing is the Queen bed is the one in the room with the stairs and the doors facing the beach, which I felt was miss-represented in the advertisement.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY STAYING AT CAROLINA ONE PROPERTY THAT WASN'T TURNED OVER FOR OUR STAY

///BEWARE/// We were told house was "ready" and after issues with a non-working door code that had to be changed, we entered to find the house completely UNTOUCHED since the last guest. NO HOUSEKEEPING had come to get piled used towels, unmade beds, sandy showers/bathtubs, and dirty sinks/countertops, heavily trafficked grimy floors. After a long day of travel, we had to wait outside 3 HOURS with a young special needs child and in increasingly windy/cold evening weather while emergency housekeeping was called in and turning over home. Carolina One voluntarily overpromised a "full refund" of our seven day stay to control narrative in those frustrating first hours which was well received, but two days later issued a refund of LESS THAN one night's stay. We appealed for their reconsideration and received no response. Too expensive and too poor condition of a property to endure this type of insulting treatment and disorganization. After 20 years coming to Folly, we've never had this happen and will never give our business to Carolina One again.

Nice view BUT needs work

Beautiful because it’s beach front but needs a TON of work you can’t even open/close the doors due to rust…place was super dirty hasn’t been cleaned properly in a long while!!! We cleaned the best we could to enjoy the stay …The lights on the stairs need to be on different switch from the outside as the turtle conservationist left us notes but the lights were not left on over night we just had to turn on stair light to see to walk down the enclosed 23 steps to not fall early in the am to go walk the beach …pretty view but for what I paid I was disappointed in the house, I have paid way less for much cleaner and the doors actually work! The top door was so hard to open and close we didn’t even go up to the top balcony very disappointing!!! Honestly, I’d expect the rental company to give money back.. but I’m sure that would NEVER happen…beautiful beach and great family time to offset the dirty house..

Great beach access but wouldn’t stay here again…

The location and beach access were the BEST things about the house. The view is amazing!! However, all of the beds were so hard we couldn’t rest at all. The additional comforters in the closet were dirty and stained. Light bulbs were burned out and remotes with no batteries. The bathrooms and showers are very small. We couldn’t use the grill since it was old, dirty, and rusted. Again, if you’re looking for views and great beach access this is perfect, but for what we paid for just 4 nights we expected the home to be much nicer.
