Wonderful property located right on the beach in a more private area of Folly with its own path to the water. This property looks just like the listing. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom were well appointed. The staircase goes up to an open area loft that has a daybed and trundle bed, which gives another bedroom! An unexpected bonus. A few things future renters may find helpful: 1) There either is not A/C in the bedrooms or there’s not a lot of circulation. It didn’t bother us and the rooms had fans you could plug in but it may be helpful to know. 2) You have to go through the bedrooms to get to a bathroom. Again, not an biggie ant anll! Just an heads up. 3) Also the check-in code didn’t work when we arrived. I texted the host company and called as well. I stayed on hold for nearly 10 min before they replied via text with two other codes, one of which worked. We didn’t need the host company other than this initial check-in issue.Other positives: There was a turtle nest right outside the house on the beach, which was AMAZING, but also stressed the importance of TURNING OFF THE HOUSE LIGHTS AT NIGHT, especially those in the attic space. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We definitely recommend this home and loved our time here!!!

Overall the location was incredible. Loved that it was right on the beach and we enjoyed our trip overall. We were able to fish and we had plenty of beach to ourselves and the surrounding area was nice and quiet. We did have difficulty getting into the property at check in when the PIN code didn’t work. We were later given a key but told someone would come by to fix the door code and no one did, so 8 people had to use a single key the whole week. We also asked for a vacuum to assist in cleaning up sand and we had small kids who constantly make messes and we really wanted to clean up since we were there for a week, but there was none on the property and we were told they would get someone to bring one. Never did. When communicating through the app, it very much appeared the replies were AI generated. When we expressed that concern, the response stated “we understand your request to speak with a live person and we will arrange this.” That did not happen. Otherwise the place was great and we really had a good time. Definitely, needs new boards on the deck. Several are loose and have nails exposed.

We loved our stay at the editor's view. I went to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and it was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, the screened in porch provided shade when we needed it, and the deck right on the beach was an incredibly place to watch the sunrise, watch dolphins play, and generally relax. We really enjoyed the home!

Fantastc property located right on the beach. Far enough from downtown beach to enjoy a bit of serenity, but close enough to enjoy in the action.

Great family beach week

Amazing location and beach access. Clean property with great, open layout. Finishes and decorations are dated, but an awesome place to stay with our 3 young kids for spring break.

Ocean Front House on Folly Beach

We enjoyed 4 glorious days in this immaculate beach front home. Easy access to Downtown Charleston by car, this open floor plan house, with a large kitchen and deck with great views of the sunrise and sunset made for a great stay

Wonderful place, right on the beach

Very nice accommodations, and perfect for our family. Well stocked, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Screened porch and open deck facing the ocean were perfect for watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. Would definitely book again!

A beautiful home, steps from the beach! We drank our coffee on the screened in deck and watched the sunrise. We watched the beautiful waves and people surfing. You will enjoy this place very much, thanks for allowing people to experience it!

Folly Beach house

Had the best vacation ever with my two kids. We loved the location of the home on the ocean. Surfed and body surfed every day we were there rain or shine. Walked around downtown Folly Beach and shopped til we dropped on KINGS ST in Charleston. Excellent location!
