“Small but perfect home base for exploring the area. We came to drive the dragon for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area. The little A Frame Cabin helped make that time more enjoyable. If you are coming for the dragon or other nearby drives, the entrance is literally across the street from Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort and the entrance to the dragon.”

“Hermoso hotel, enmedio de la naturaleza, excelente comida, me encantó! ”

“Property was clean, nicely decorated. Very peaceful, but still close to the main road. The listing showed a view of the river, but it was overgrown and couldn't really see the water from the porch. But it was a good place to stay and be within a short drive to lots of hiking, pretty drives, and restaurants. The Dragon Pit in Robbinsville had good food, and the Tattered Tartan Pub in Andrews was great food and atmosphere. The house is a tiny house, so only 2-3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 kids...

“Cannot wait to book again!”

“The view is real and the home is beautiful. We had a wonderful few days and made good memories. But there are things you should know before you book.Scroll down and read Tina's review from September 2025. She wrote that the master listed as a king "is a queen," that there was black mold in both upstairs showers, and that the microwave vent was "held together with duct tape."I stayed ten months later and found all three. The listing still says King. It is not.The microwave is now separating from...

“The Owl's Perch and surroundings is beautiful and serene. I would 100% recommend. The accommodation in very well laid out with many things thought of for your convenience. Enjoyed every moment, wish we could have stayed longer.”

“The view is exceptional! No other buildings or roads as far as the horizon!”

“This was a super cute cabin in the mountains! It was very clean. We had everything we needed to cook up dinner in the evening. My husband and adult son also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.”

“This was the perfect location stay for this area! I loved how close Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains were.. you really can’t beat this and the cabin is gorgeous!! Very clean.. 10/10 recommend. I’ll be back!”

“Room was clean and looked nice. Bathroom too small with terrible water pressure and a very wobbly commode. Breakfast was grab and go in a breakfast room that was locked and was not accessible until after 7:30. If you are there to see bears at Cades Cove, it puts you up there a little late. Being just grab and go, maybe they could make it accessible earlier by room key code. Our room had no microwave and the only one that available was in the breakfast room and was very small and under powered....
