“We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in to departure, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a good night sleep. Breakfast had a good variety of options and everything was fresh and well presented. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel stay.”

“I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. “Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…”

“Very nice home and property. Great value. Seems like an excellent location for visiting Aberdeen. Hosts were great. Parking was easy (and free). Only one minor issue. Our room was in the front of the house which is on a very busy street. So with our window open (it was unseasonably warm during our trip) there was quite a bit of traffic noise.”
