We kept saying to each other how much we loved the place and the rural experience just 15 minutes away from town. The place was so clean and well appointed. And the host was super conscientious and kind. My parents, in their 90s, didn’t have to worry about stairs at all. And the well-placed nightlights helped navigate the space during the night without having to turn lights on. The beds and sheets were super comfortable. In fact, it just seemed like the hosts put a ton of thought into how to make the space easy and comfortable. The family lives in the space above. They were very sensitive to their guests’ desires for quiet. The views with big-sky-autumn-sunrises from our windows and patio to the east were gorgeous. We took walks along our street, enjoyed seeing the small reservoirs, and loved the quiet (even the donkeys next door were friendly and quiet!)We drove to a dairy with Howling Cow Cafe for a tour and then went to the Drasala Center to see the Buddhist Temple (Stupa) and walk in the woods. Had coffee and breakfast at Mugs in Fort Collins on our way home to Boulder. Perfect little trip for us.
