Casas vacacionales en Fort Davis

“Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while picking up our youngest at Prude Ranch summer camp. The little house was super clean, very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and linens, great tv, kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet, simple luxury in lovely Fort Davis, and very affordable in comparison to hotel rooms in the area. Checking and checkout were a breeze, and we felt right at home ! Did not have a chance to enjoy the rooftop deck, but it looked lovely. Would definitely...

“The house is so comfortable. An abundance of nice towels in both bathrooms. So important to me. The Greek soaking tub was a hit with the grandchildren. Me, too! Such gorgeous views. So peaceful. We saw deer, quail (a pair) and a coyote walking through the tall grass. So convenient to the McDonald Observatory and Mt Davis State Park for hiking and lunch at the Black Bear at the Indian Lodge. We had a wonderful time.”

“Beautiful view, attentive host, comfortable beds, beautiful sunsets”

“I loved everything about it!!!! However the patio up top and the stars go great together!! It was by far the most comfy, cute place I’ve stayed. The calm and quiet was an added bonus! This is the way to go when traveling to Alpine! I can’t wait to visit again! Everything you need in a tiny, comfy place.”

“Clean location. Peaceful and host was very accommodating.”

“We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water. There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...

“Cozy place. Room was clean and location was within city limits. Plan on booking again in the near future.”

“The property was beautiful and we loved the remote feeling. The stars were beautiful to watch at night! My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of...

“Very. Clean property. Well locate in town. Great communication and smooth check out.”

“I loved the location, the setup of the house, the eye for detail, and convenience. Great place to stay when visiting the Alpine area.”

“Can’t say enough good things about Terry’s home. It was absolutely perfect for our trip to Marfa. Such a unique property in a perfect location and absolutely perfect for our group of four. The beds were so comfortable and the space was more than adequate. We were bummed about the weather not cooperating for our trip to the observatory, but the clouds parted just enough for us to have a great night of stargazing right out back in the seating area. This will be our go-to place to stay for future...

“It was perfect for me”

“What a great property! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this shipping container home - plenty of room for two of us. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. ”

“Was super and would stay again!! Just need to update information to proved WiFi. ”

“April is such a gracious host! Katherine’s Cottage exceeds all our needs when we stay in Alpine.”

“Nice and quiet!”

“Our stay was amazing! The property was clean and check-in/out was a breeze. Simplicity at its finest. The drive to Big Bend was easy from this location. Sat gazing on the top deck was perfection. Will definitely visit again. ”

“Very nice. Exactly how pictured”

“The place was nice and easy to get to. Hosts were friendly. No issues at all, fun place to stay if visiting Big Bend. ”
