The house is fine. The garden is really nice. But the communication from the organization that manages the house is a disaster. Every form of contact is automated. You receive standardized texts, most of which have no relevance to your actual concern. You have to read through all the nonsense to get to the essence of the text. This is extremely annoying. Before you arrive, there is already a flood of messages, disclaimers, and warnings. This doesn't feel welcoming at all. Although there is a flood of communication, the really important things aren't shared. On the first day, a plumber suddenly appeared completely unannounced... there was apparently a leak in an adjoining room of the house. No info was shared. On the evening of the first day, we noticed that the water in the kitchen sink wasn't draining. It took 3 days to solve this. No info in between. Had to pull all info, none came easy. It's a crime to ask for a late check-out to early. That's helpful for the owner, but not for the guest, the renter.
