Vickie was wonderful with communications and the place was not only as described but even a better value. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and even sunblock. The little things matter! The place was super clean and a one minute walk to a gorgeous safe beach. Will be glad to stay here again if the opportunity comes my way!

Really clean and comfortable. The cooking area was very small however although all the appliances were brand new. There was no room for using the kettle and air fryer. Great pool, also really clean, only a few steps from the apartment. Beach chairs and towels were also provided. Would definitely stay again. Lovely apartment

Cutest property ever! Loved that it was small and quiet. The room was upstairs with large windows all around! It did not have an ocean view but was a very quick walk to the beach. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend! The pool deck definitely needs work but the pool itself was clean and refreshing!

The perfect place for a solo weekend! The property is older and could use a little TLC, but the rooms were impeccably clean and spacious. I could hear my neighbors, but they were young and having a good time. Overall it was a mix of families, couples. The bikes and chairs are an added bonus and really made the beach time easy! I needed assistance with the bike locks and I got a text back quickly.

Cute place great for couples and families, the rooms has everything you might need, clean, the pool is perfect, bike not in the best shape but they work for a little ride, the best thing about this place is that you can walk 2 min and you will be at the beach amazing We spent 4 nights we were able to use the towel that they provided and use the laundry room to wash them when needed they provided beach chairs and umbrella which was amazing

Stayed for 3 days/2 nights and loved it! The room had an air fryer, keurig, and mini fridge which were very convenient. The pool was clean and nice to relax in. The beach was only a two minute walk and the complementary beach chairs were perfect!! We faced a slight complication but the property manager was very kind and helped us immediately.

Waves on Desoto is a quaint smaller property with a nice pool and an easy walk to the beach. The property has 10 accommodations which are well appointed with many amenities, including beach towels & chairs. The beds are very comfortable! Located in a quiet neighborhood with a less busy beach but a very nice walk or quick bike ride into the main Hollywood Beach business area with bars, restaurants, busy beaches and a beautiful boardwalk. Waves property manager, Vickie, was super helpful and accommodated our many special requests. The cleaning crew were also excellent! The location was perfect! Very close to the airport, close to the beach and our new favourite restaurant, Tiki Tiki, which is only a 5 minute walk from Waves. My only recommendation is a little work on the pool deck area, could use some levelling off and some fresh paint. The bikes available to use for free could use new chains and maybe someone could add air to the tires once and a while. Otherwise amazing, we’ll be back again!

Loved that they had bikes you could borrow (no charge!) To ride down to Hollywood Beach and the boardwalk. The also provided beach chairs, towels for the beach and a pool on site. Definitely recommend this as a great location and place to stay in Hollywood.

Well this place is very close to the beach but it really needs some updating.. you’ll see things broken from the second you walk in the property.. it’s been neglected for a long time. I’ll let you judge from the pictures.. Check in process was a joke.. was supposed to receive an email with room code but only after I email the property manager and paid the cleaning fee was I sent the room code, which by the way didn’t work on our 3 rd day there.. lucky the cleaning person was there and after about 15 minutes was able to reprogram the lock. The walls really are paper thin..you could hear complete conversations from the room next door.. don’t expect to get a good nights sleep if you have people in the room next to you that stay up late. Trash was overflowing from the trash containers at the entrance from the day we checked in and was still overflowing on the day we left.. this was even after I sent a picture to the property manager and was told it would be cleaned up..this was especially annoying since you had to empty your own trash. No place to put it. WiFi and TV we’re also horrible.. got the cirvke of doom while watching Tv and the wifi for our phone would only work if we went outside our room.. go figure… Can’t plug the coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in at the same time.. only 2 at a time. I’m not one that usually writes reviews but don’t want people to have high expectations of the property from looking at the pictures online.

Dear George, We are sorry to read your comments. First I personally send you a text message the morning of your check in with the cleaning fee request and you didn't responded to it! Proof of this one was also send to you and then you apologize and pay it. Right away check in instruction was send and you enter. You also mentioned my cleaning lady had to reset the lock code when she have no access to this apps..... after i spoke with her, she informed me you were not able to enter as you were not pressing the ultraloq button ( as mention in your instruction) and this is why the lock was not opening! The garbage situation you are absolutely right, they had not pick up that weekend and i personally took care of the situation and did apologize for the inconvenience best regards

This place wasn’t great to be honest! Very shabby & not the cleanest. Outside area was rough & very tired looking. Guests the first two night we stayed were very noisy, in the pool at 2am larking around. Beach on doorstep was great & lovely walk to Hollywood boardwalk.

It was a small intimate apartment. Very clean. Only 10 apartments. Other guests friendly. Nice place to relax and get away 2 minute walk to the beach. Mot crowded. I was like having a private beach.

The place we rented was like a little apartment, has a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes, chairs and umbrella for the beach, street parking, easy walk to the beach. Just perfect!

I had the worst experience at this place. The manager Vicky didn’t communicate well at all. I was not able to stay here because she failed to email me information on how to check in. I was in the middle of nowhere and it scared me to death. She never answered my calls. Expedia called her as well as my friend no answer with instructions. I think it was a fraudulent place. Do not book here! You will be very disappointed. I had to get on a flight and come home because the other hotels were booked and my nerves were so bad it just ruined everything for me. I only needed the room for one night stay because I just returned from a cruise… it was the low of my vacation. It’s a scam!

Dear Karla, you need to be careful and read before to write such bad reviews. You showed up at 7:48am the morning of your check in when check in is at 4pm, you called me screaming on the phone because you wanted to access now when my tenants were still there with a 10am checkout time and refused to paid the cleaning fee mentioned on your expedia reservation!!!!! so you left and called expedia who told you , you were wrong as you didn't respected anything send to you already Best regards

This place is an absolute gem! Steps away from the beach and a walk/bike path that takes you to the Hollywood Boardwalk. The place comes with beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, and bikes that guests can use free of charge. The nearby beaches are quiet as is the neighborhood Vicky, the property manager, was extremely responsive and facilitated an early check-in and late check-out. Truly can't recommend this place enough!

The location is really great❣️ Other people staying there were great & helpful. We walked and biked the area wjile there. Dania is a beautiful beach. Daytime or night time❣️ More garbage cans in the rooms qould be nice.

Loved the heated pool! And the beach was 300 ft away, the beach chairs that were provided came in handy! Used and enjoyed the bikes that were available!

This property was a great value. Good clean room. Nice heated pool with nice space around pool for relaxing. Only one block from the beach. Serviceable bikes to ride on the boardwalk. Well maintained property.

Great place to stay - clean, all you need is there, about 100 meters to the beach... perfect. And excellent communications with the owne, immediate response, always there for you. Loved it. Highly recommend.

The room was exactly how the picture described it. It was very clean and perfect for our stay. The beach is walking distance and there is bicycle that you can ride around and down to the hollywood boardwalk. One thing I was disappointed is the parking, we when out and came back late at night and there was no parking. I did texted the property manager but never hear back. I would stay at this place again, just a suggestion regarding the parking it will be nice if every parking spot get unit # so this issue doesn't happen since it's not cheap to stay here.

I love everything about this place . Vicky the host is wonderful. I stayed at this place twice . It is walking distance to the beach and to a wonderful bar restaurant on the water . Ask for Bebe best bartender there .

Comfortable and cute!!
Found this gem last minute after my cruise plans fell apart. Very comfortable bed and loved the room setup- very cute and beachy! Loved that they provided beach chairs and towels and it was so close (1/2 block) to the beach. Area felt very safe especially since I was staying there alone. Beach was not crowded at all and I even wandered down one morning and caught the sunrise!

Great staycation getaway for us to see a show at the Seminole Hardrock only 15-20 minutes away. Place was clean and quiet. Area feels like “Old Florida” from the past. Really enjoyed it. We will be coming back.

I absolutely love this location. It is half a block to the beach. It is very clean, free parking, it is a block and a half to a bar restaurant that we like Tiki Tiki and Vicky the host is amazing. The city bus is right around the corner. Dania beach is at walking distance .
