Totalmente encantadora y bien mantenida, esta acogedora cabaña se encuentra en un maravilloso entorno frente al lago con 300 pies de costa frente a su puerta. Con un muelle sustancial, playa limpia y una rampa para botes de concreto, puedes disfrutar de este lago natural alimentado por manantiales.

El interior de la cabaña cuenta con paneles de pino acanalados y machihembrados hechos a mano, y cada habitación tiene una vista del lago Miles Kale. Un ventoso porche con vista también da a este lugar especial. Este lago de fondo de arena es limpio y maravilloso para pescar, nadar y pasear en bote. Toda nuestra familia aprendió a esquiar aquí.

Exactamente a mitad de camino entre Ocala y Gainesville, puede estar en la ciudad o Palatka en 30 minutos para cenar, ir de compras, entretenerse, eventos culturales o atención médica. O conduzca 55 minutos a Daytona Beach, o menos de 2 horas a las atracciones de Disney. This property was much more than we anticipated. Very clean and well maintained. The host was great with communication and sent us information on not only the property but things to do in the area.

Lovely relaxing lake cabin

We had a great short weekend getaway. We enjoyed the provided canoe and spent several enjoyable hours fishing from the dock. Overall just as advertised and delightfully quiet and relaxing!

Perfect Getaway

My fiance and I took our pups for a short getaway here. It was perfect! The cabin was clean and well kept. It was a quiet weekend on the lake, we spent most of the day fishing on the dock. We loved our stay here!

Nice little lakeside property with canoe

Perfect spot for a getaway

I and five other friends piled into this adorable cabin for a weekend and had the time of our lives! The kitchen was perfectly efficient and stocked with the tools and cookware we need. We had a great time sitting by the fire pit and star gazing on the dock. We'll definitely be back!

Lake House

A rustic cabin on a lake; just what the doctor ordered! My daughter and I had a great time. It was fabulous to disconnect and enjoy a simple life for a moment. My favorite part of the cabin is the dock. I watched a beautiful morning unfold. It brings the kind of peace you wish everyone could experience.

We rented both homes as a small wedding venue. The online photos do not do this property justice. Absolutely beautiful, the 2 cabins were great for a bride’s cabin and a groom’s cabin. Both cabins were very clean and well stocked. Will be delighted to rent again for a family getaway!

Peaceful Lake Getaway

This was my fourth stay at Ed's property. The setting and surroundings are beautiful and the property is always clean and well-maintained. Ed is a great, communicative host. I'll be back again!

Lovely Getaway on Small Lake

This is our second time at this cottage. It is comfortable and picturesque. We enjoy it as a base for hiking and kayaking in the forest. Be aware that there is another rental property on the same plot and if it is occupied, it is rather close quarters.

Beautiful and relaxing

The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family.

Enjoyable stay

Overall we had a nice stay. Cabin could benefit from a deep clean, wasn’t dirty by any means but was stuffy and felt like no one had stayed there for a while even though there were still remnants from some Fourth of July festivities there from the week prior. WiFi was an issue but was clearly stated ahead of time.

Your own personal nature preserve

I almost don’t want to review this property because I love it so much. It’s so peaceful and QUIET out there. The water is clear, my husband loves it, the grands love it, & my dog loves it. The house is clean, the yard is kept. The only negative is the beds are hard and the living room furniture is not the same as pictured and isn’t very comfortable, but we’re outside the majority of the time anyway. We’ve already booked another week.

Disappointed

We have stayed here before and were very satisfied the first time hence we decided to come back. Unfortunately in one year things have changed: there was no toilet paper, no dish detergent or sponge, unclean areas on the edge of walls and under furnitures, but the most inconvenient was the lack of wifi. Although the listing says that wifi is available that is false. The wifi belongs to the house next to it (which is in the same property) and the connection was very poor to none. Considering that this area is known for poor cell phone coverage, we heavily depended on wifi for communication. Had we known about it, we would not have come. It was a huge inconvenience for us specially because we were restrained from using any of our devices (including computer work matters) unless we physically walked outside the cabin to be closer to the other house.

Secret gem of a location

The pictures of the lake do not capture the magical and serene feeling of being at this cabin. So very romantic and quiet, surrounded by natural beauty. Had a little issue with the new internet box being installed right before we arrived but the host was easy to get in touch with. We will definitely be booking this again in the near future!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful and relaxing property with us.
