My first impression of the host, Dorothy, was not good. We reached the gate at about 1 p.m. I called the host to get the access code. The answer came from a noisy background that sounded very unprofessional. We were told to complete the payment security deposit. When we called back, Dorothy told us that the code would only be sent at 3:00 p.m., which is the check-in time. At 2:50 p.m., I received the access code, which did not work at the gate, so I called again and was given a new code, which worked. We got to the property about 3:40 p.m. When I walked in, the place smelled like a basement that hadn't been used for a while; there was a liquid on the living room floor that looked like mucus. The scariest part was the bedroom, where there were used Q-tips on the floor and the bed had the appearance of someone sleeping in it. I thought we were in the wrong apartment, so I called the host who told me that the place was professionally cleaned just before we came. I then went to check what was on the disc, and it was the padding in the comforter, gathered into one area. The be sheet underneath looked soiled and unkept. We booked this place for my family of 3, and the living room couch should be the sleeper for the 3rd person. When my 150-pound daughter sat on it, the legs spread. The bathroom floor and mat were wet. The one before the vanity was old and unsightly. We got a refund after talking with Viviana, the property manager. This was a horror experience.
