Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen and bathroom linens and supplies. Host was very responsive.”

“I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return.”

“The neighborhood is in a good walking area, but a little desolate. The heating, cleanliness, water pressure, WiFi were all great. The kitchen was basic and the neighborhood didn’t have amazing food options, but it was a great launching pad for exploring Arcata, Clam Beach, Trinidad and the state parks.”

“We loved our stay at this property. The neighborhood is nice, safe, very quiet with ample parking along the street. The house was just as described: roomy, clean, well-appointed, with comfortable furniture and beds. Showers were hot, wifi worked great! Margo was a wonderful host, checking on to make sure we got in safely and had no issues. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Humboldt county. ”

(We only used this room) The home was well stocked with linens and paper products.This home sits among beautiful homes in a charming neighborhood. We felt safe walking to many shops and restaurants within a half mile of this home. It is also easy access to the highway to go to Eureka and the redwoods. We would stay again and highly recommend! ”
