The beach and the promenade are just a minute away. Formosa beach is Madeira's largest public beach and is a complex consisting of four sandy beaches and rolled pebbles. Located west of Funchal, Praia Formosa is the largest public beach in the region. This beach is linked to Lido's Promenade and the Promenade that connects it to Câmara de Lobos.
More commonly known as Doca do Cavacas, this small beach complex is located between the Lido and Formosa beach. It can be accessed from the Lido Promenade. To the west of this beach, bracing views can be enjoyed over the highest cape in Europe (Cape Girão) and Formosa Beach.
This beach has a natural volcanic swimming pool and direct access to the sea, as well as changing rooms, a lifeguard, a restaurant and bar.

The prices above is in Euros and is for 2 people.
A charge of 55 Euros will be applied per extra person.
A charge of 11 Euros will be applied per children 0-6 years;
A charge of 22 Euros will be applied per children 7-12 years;

A 25% deposit is required in order to secure the booking, the remaining amount needs to be settled, when possible, at least 4 weeks prior to the arrival date.

Price includes - cleaning, towels and bed linen. For guests staying 2 weeks or more have a mid stay change of bed linen and towels at the end of each week. Cleaning service during the stay can be provided, please enquiry for costs.
