A great house for a family gathering. Large yard area. Absolutely perfect!

The perfect vacation home away from home. The layout and space was perfect for our family. Immaculately clean, great back deck, and family room. We definitely recommend and will look to stay again in the future!

Family getaway

Absolutely loved this property! Great space both inside and outside, with plenty of room for all. A couple highlights for us were the amazing deck, separate main room with doors for watching TV and of course the tire swing for the kids. Also conveniently located very close to the owners club. Highly recommend for families and groups.

Family Get Together

Lots of room to hang out as a family or to chill on one’s own. The grand girls loved the sun room with the games and TV. We cooked all our evening meals and enjoyed the fireplace. Also it was an easy drive to Galena to enjoy the shops and cafes. We’re coming back, for sure.

Beautiful Galena House

The house was amazing! So much room and loved all the decor! Would definitely recommend and stay again! Loved the filtered water faucet in the kitchen and the family room was a big hit. Beds were very comfy and loved that there were even night lights throughout the house. The only "slight" was we wished the water pressure in the showers was a bit stronger.

Perfect Location, Leopard Carpet

We had a great jaunt to Galena and this property is in the perfect location. It is close to the owners club with pool and workout space and all the local fun like skiing, eating and the downtown strip. The property is easy to access and well maintained. The snow was plowed immediately upon our arrival, bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchens were clean. The laundry was convenient and functional which is key for our larger family. The house has a lot of stuff in it so most drawers are full and there is no easy storage for clothing, food, etc. The kitchen supplies were worn down and could be fresher, the master bedroom shower does not work and the second floor has the better shower set up despite being the smaller bed and area. Lots of mish mosh with the bedroom and supplies set up. There is lots of space so it’s great for a large family. The main area is large and comfortable. The family room set up is great and the massive dining room table perfect. Our visit was in the winter so the outside was not as easily used but I could see that the set up was ideal and convenient. The listing says it but make sure to note there are no kitchen items like salt, mustard or coffee. You have to bring everything. Overall the property is good. My biggest takeaway is that it was a no dog property yet the entire home smells like dogs and especially the main floor. The couches and family room are not hairy but smell intensely of dogs. If you have any allergies I would not stay at this home. It’s not dog free.

Had all the amenities covered! House is large and well appointed! Love the location. Only downside is water pressure in one bathroom was lacking. Will plan to stay next year! Process was excellent! Thank you!!!

The house was nice, heat did not come on the first night, but they prompltly fixed and it and it was ok the next night. I would rent this unit again.

Perfect girls trip

This house was perfect for six gals and one newborn to stay and hang out for the weekend!! Plenty of bathrooms and space to spread out but the open concept gathering area made it easy for us all to still be together 😁. Only downside was that some of the dishes had dried on food stuck to them - they just weren't very clean, but nothing a little scrub in the sink didn't fix. Property manager was easy to get a hold of through the app. Overall 5/5 stay, we've already started planning our next trip to this house again!

Valentine’s Day getaway

The property was beautiful. The amenities were awesome and the house was clean and in a safe neighborhood with police surveillance a lot (if that makes you feel more comfortable, I know for us it did). The only couple things to point out was the house was about a 20 minute drive from downtown and sometimes it took you down some sketchy backroads. The master shower had literally zero water pressure to the point we couldn’t even use it because no water was coming out. Lastly, the bed sheets and things are a little outdated for us - still beautiful and comfortable, but just not our personal taste. The TV in the master is way too outdated for those wanting to stay in the house, which for some people is not a big deal, but my wife needs background sounds in order to fall asleep. The house itself was so cozy and beautiful. The fireplace was amazing to sit by every night, and having a smart TV with Netflix was amazing!

Loved our time here

We really enjoyed our stay. We've been coming to Galena for over10 years and this was by far our favorite house. SO much space. The online pictures DO NOT do this house justice.

Excellent home for a family with kids

We had such a wonderful time at this house. The yard is amazing and very large, perfect for the kids to run around and play sports safely. Everything was very clean. The TV room was super cozy. Also a short distance to the owners club which has a beautiful pool deck that the kids really enjoyed. We would love to stay in this exact house again!

Great gathering house

This house has a great open space for gatherings. Plenty of seating, space, blankets, towels, pretty much everything. The only negative thing I have to mention is regarding the cleanliness of dishes, silverware, glasses and cabinet knobs. Once we washed all dishes we would use and wiped down the cabinets, this property was stellar. Loved the extra wide hallways, stairwell and doorways. This would accommodate wheelchairs easily. Well furnished, well stocked, very comfortable. Thank you for allowing my family to celebrate our occasion in your home.

Clean and good location

This property is clean, in a good location, and well kept. The house is very close to downtown Galena and the restaurants and amenities of Eagle Ridge. The only complaint is the shower off the main floor bedroom does not work well, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Memorable 70th Celebration

This property made a great backdrop for our family birthday weekend celebration in Galena. Very spacious, in a scenic area and close to downtown Galena and Dubuque. Thanks for a great stay!
