Loved the privacy, security, heated pool and amenities. The beach is great for walking. Everything was great.

Beautiful ocean view from every room!

The condo was really beautiful with an ocean view from every room!We loved the pool area that is right on the beach! You can sit by the pool snd see and hear the ocean. We will be back!

Palisades Galveston

Every exceeded our expectations. The property is top notch as well as the unit. There was a friendly staff that helped us as we needed. I would definitely put this at the top of the list of places to stay in Galveston.

Family vaca

Check in was smooth, property is very secure, condo was as expected except for the 3rd bedroom. I would say that is only for kods.

It was exactly as pictured, very quiet, and the concierge was very helpful, I really like the security of the building, the pool was beautiful. I plan on returning next year.

Palisade palms is always lovely with tons of amenities and all the residents are very friendly. It’s great for family time and a fantastic location close to the seawall but you don’t have to cross the street to get to the beach. This condo has a great view of the beach, down to the pleasure pier and you can even see some of the bayside. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Overall a Good Time

The property itself was great. The condo we stayed in had several problems. I've sent all that to Vacasa. Don't know if we'd stay there again.

Could not be happier!!!!

The unit was as advertised and pictured! No surprises. It was spectacularly clean and well stocked. The week we were there was picture perfect weather. Since it was a few weeks out of season it was very quiet and relaxing.

Galveston Condo

Very nice property overlooking the water. Although most of the time we were there the weather wasn’t the best we still thoroughly enjoyed our time there! Our son , daughter in law and their small dog from Austin joined us for 6 days. They also we pleased with the property. They both had to work from there and the small den off their bedroom was ideal. We have already booked this condo for an entire month in February of next year. We’ll look forward to it!

The property was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. Some furnishings were a little bulky, which made some areas a little tight; nevertheless, that is a personal preference. I only have two recommendations for the host. There is a shelf in the master bath that should be removed. It is at eye level and could be dangerous. Secondly, the master bed is too high off the ground. We had the concierge make an adjustment so that my wife could get in; she's rather short and petite. Outside of those minor things, our experience was 5-Star.

Excellent facility - but host refused to permit the property to rent us the on-site electric vehicle charger (10/charge) for our EV … forcing us to drive an hour round trip to Texas City - plus charging time - to keep our car running (there is no fast-charge facility on the island). Seemed rather mean-spirited for a host. Aside from the extraordinarily high king bed in the master, the rest of the unit was very comfortable - if a bit worn. Some wonky lamps, broken hinges on a couple of cabinets, foam padding added to compensate for a sagging bed. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed the common areas and had a wonderful vacation.

Nice Condo

We stayed here with our two Cavalier pups. The place has a nice dog area with water and a shower station. The boardwalk was nice and there were beach chairs available. The king bed is very high so wouldn’t be good for elderly guests. The views are great! The kitchen was well appointed and we made a few meals. There is an eating area on the balcony that was our favorite spot. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the pickle all courts. Management was very responsive. The location is great.

Fantastic ocean views

The unit was clean, nice, fantastic ocean views from balcony and rooms, always enjoy Palisade Palms. Bedding needs to be updated with new sheets, some had stains, need new comforters and covers, had some stains. Need new frying pans.

Post-wedding getaway

Needed a short time at the beach after a daughter's wedding. Also wanted to bring along our Bouvier de Flanders. This was just the right place. Just a little hiccup checking in because the room key given us at the front desk wouldn't turn the lock, but maintenance saved the day pretty quickly. The front desk personnel were wonderful - especially Ladonia - as they all seemed to bond with our dog. Other reviews were accurate and although we had to leave a day early because of weather, the stay was just right for us.

Fantastic kitchen equipment, comfortable mattresses and living room furniture. Fun artwork throughout. Master bed was very high, not good for elderly renters. Limited to three keys and FOBS, very inconvenient for 6 people. Would be ideal for 3 people. Inadequate storage for 6 people for a week. Great washer and dryer. The resort is fantastic. We loved the pools, beach, game rooms, playroom, workout center and comfortable gathering areas. Very clean and first class.

Family trip at the beach

The building was beautiful and had many amenities to enjoy for the whole family. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. Check in with Vacasa was pretty awful as they had not sent over our rental information so we weren’t able to check in until I made a few phone calls. A huge headache after a long two days of travel!! Nice walk to the beach and the unit had what we needed including beach chairs, umbrella, and toys. Overall though, I wouldn’t say this particular unit was young family friendly. Any beach vacation is great, but I wouldn’t return to this unit again.

Vacay 2023

Our vacation was awesome! The condo was just like it said. The view was outstanding. When we were home we sat out on the balcony 95 percent with the outstanding view. We did buy a bigger coffee pot to leave there. The other one was too small. Only other suggestion I have is that the matress in the smaller room needs replaced. Its all worn out on the one side. Other than that the condo was awesome. Palisade Palms is a beautiful resort. We would stay there again in a hearbeat. Thanks, The Hardings

Nice property and facilities.

Everyone on the property is extremely nice and helpful. It has a great location, not crowded and you do not have to cross the road to get to the beach. It was also nice to not to have to wait for elevators or luggage racks. The listing is accurate and everything is as pictured. One thing to note is that the master bed is a king but you do have to use the stool to get into and out of the bed as it is very high and there is only a stool on one side of the bed. This may not be suitable for everyone. The tv in the office/pull out sofa area does require an Amazon account login to watch any tv so it was basically not able to be used but the others worked off of cable.

Somewhat disappointing

Overall the room was ok , mainly because of the view. Upon first arriving we noticed the unit had not been cleaned properly. There was hair left in the shower drain. The oven had a dirty pan that was left in it. There was , and still is dust under the dining table. The pillow case in the second bedroom has stains on it. My wife and I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom and oven. Also there are two towel racks in the master bathroom that are broken. The kitchen sink drain was leaking real bad and I managed to tighten the plumbing enough to get it to stop. The property is very nice but the staff at check in were very unfriendly. It was like they didn’t want to be there. There were no directions given as to how to get up to the room , where the luggage carts are , or anything. I had to ask everything. The facility is nice once you learn how to get around it. There is no signage indicating elevator , access to the boardwalk , pool or beach. Will I vacation here again ? Not sure. Ron S.

Best location on Galveston Island!

If you are looking for a nice quiet, clean, peaceful place to stay with all the amenities including heated pool, two jacuzzis, a dog run, state of the art fitness center this is the place to be! My wife and I will definitely be back!

Comfortable unit with terrific views.

This condos was spacious with beautiful views of the beach from all windows and the lanai. It was also very well equipped. Building was luxurious with lot of amenities including a large pool area, well equipped gym and easy access to the beach through a connecting board walk.
