The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided.
We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend ”
“Fabulous recent 2 nights stay at the Black Swan Inn . Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient . Our room was a lovely large space and a very big king sized bed which was extremely comfortable . We will definitely return . ”
“We stayed for just one night, picking our son up from D of E at Aysgarth Falls. The landlord and lady were so friendly, and had a few beers with us. It was a gorgeous hotel packed with character. The bedroom was very clean and the whole stay was so enjoyable. The breakfast was top drawer, and sobtasty. We walked to the waterfall as advised, well worth it. Thanks to the incredible hosts. “Easy quick check-in, room nice and clean, comfortable bed, usb plugs handy, glad a fan was provided. We ate in the pub too, food was very good. We only stayed the one night. Good location, close to A1, but not so close you got noise. ”

“This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
