“We traveled from out of town for my grandmother‘s funeral. It was the perfect oasis we needed during our difficult time. “Amazing place! We jave 4 small girls and my family lives in the area so for a place to stay at that had everything toddlers need, as well as teens as the grow older....beds galore...you are supposed to be outside here, so be outisde and enjoy the natural buty”

“Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture in spacious great room for adults. Decor added to comfortable atmosphere. We had good weather so first floor deck with outdoor couches and table were used...

“This was a great experience. Check-in went well. It had plenty of rooms for myself as well as my dad and bridesmaids (some who were married and needed private rooms). Overall we had everything we needed. Although I wasn't there for checkout I was told it went smoothly as well.”

“This place is an amazing place to stay. Host go out of her way to buy toy for my children to play with. I have to say that is the first time a host have ever done for me and my family. Clean place and the back yard is that of a resort! As long as my wife want's to come back, I Most definitely recommend.”

“Many excellent features at this home including: cleanliness, lots of towels, shampoo provided, plenty of room to spread out, 3 nice bathrooms, plenty of hot water for all & decent water pressure, quiet location with woods in back, lots of beds, comfortable washer & dryer, lamps, extra blankets & pillows, self check in worked seamlessly & no key to have to keep track of, plenty of parking, kitchen well stocked.10 people coming & going & it worked out very well. Only about 15 minutes from Quantico...

“Booking this house was easy and the response was great. Checking in was very easy as all information needed was sent the day before I was to arrive. The house was exactly like the pictures. This is the first house I stayed at that was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms with things I usually have to go to the store and buy. The house was very spacious. My family and I really enjoyed being there. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay and the price...
