“Great stay after the checking process”

“We loved it! The apartment looked just like the pictures. It was close to everything we needed- 10 minute walk to Pentagon, 10 minute walk to metro train. The only down fall was we didn't know about paying for parking - we found out the day we left though so were able to get it taken care of before we arrived. “A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access. The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. “Nothing was cleaned properly. Silverware in drawers with food on them, the bathtub had actively pink and black mold growing in it, the halls smelled. They advertised a pool and fitness center, charged me for it, and when I got there it was exactly as described. I woke up the next morning and they had BUILT WALLS where there was prevously doorways and everything was under construction for the next 4 months. “The apartment was nice: huge compared to a hotel room with comparable price. The WeHost platform is the reason for 2 stars. You have to scan the ID, front and back, of every member of the party and upload them. Seems excessively burdensome, but doable. The problem is when we tried to pay for optional parking (as advertised). The email from WeHost said to talk to the “Front Desk”, who said they have nothing to do with WeHost. “Terrible!! Paid for parking garage. never received parking pass. So we had to park almost 15 mins away. They said there was nothing they could do to get me the pass we paid for and they would refund me... we still haven't received any refund. ALSO airplanes and trains go by about every 5 mins its EXTREMELY LOUD.”
