“Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. Not ideal …....

“A nice lodge - Didn’t see any staff but didn’t need too although cabin is right next to the office - so convenient if needed. There is a hedgerow all behind cabin which is next to the pub which can be loud, & busy road - overall nice - quite a few cobwebs but it’s wooden so to be expected Cabin itself is very well maintained and built.”

“A lovely little apartment, with all one needs for self catering included, absurdly close to the beach and the pub. I was in apartment 7. The apartment is actually quite a good size and could comfortably accommodate one or two people. There is a small, en-suite bathroom with shower (no bath) and a large sitting/dining room with small kitchen area. “When we arrived expecting to stay in an annex as per the image on Expedia, we were instead in a room in the main house. We took this up with the proprietor who agreed to cancel with no cost. We took this at face value and stayed elsewhere. On checking our bank account on 24 Sept we saw that we had been charged. We called the property but were told we need to take this up with Expedia. Very disappointed.”
