“I’ve stayed at the Mason’s Arms twice now, and both times it’s been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic. I’ll go out of my way to stay here in future.”

“Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.”

“We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. “Super friendly staff, right on the course, restaurant/bar and good breakfast. What else could you want?”

“Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes”

“There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed. ”

“Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay.”

“El hotel estaba en un mal estado de conservación. Moquetas sucias y antiguas, ventanas que no cerraban correctamente, paredes con problemas en la pintura. Incluso no pudimos dejar las maletas en ningún sitio ya que teniamos el vuelo tarde. Nos dijeron que las dejaramos en medio del lounge sin ningún tipo de seguridad. Precio extremadamente caro para lo que ofrecen.”

“Clean and tidy, excellent location and beautiful views.”
