“This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. “My husband, 2 kids and mother enjoyed our stay at this property! The place was super clean and more spacious than the pictures could show! The location was amazing as it was right in the heart of all the action! Jeannie’s Great Maine Breakfast was delish and the recommendation for Royal Indian was fab! “No contact from property manager or owner for requests , sheets had pubic hair from previous booking , I asked for new bedding and said I would change it myself, things happen I get it, dirt on the floor sticking to socks and feet, paper thin walls, unusable balcony, we left after only one night without communication from anyone to find a cheaper, bigger, much cleaner place, with much more privacy, ”

“We had a great time staying here! As others have shared, Southwest Harbor is on the quieter side of the island AND we had a full Acadia experience. There was plenty to do in/around that area and Bar Harbor was about 25ish minutes away. Eric was very communicative -- the check-in process was easy and the place is as pictured and described - very clean and comfortable. Would I stay here again? Yes - I have zero hesitation in recommending this place.”

“What a wonderful little gem! The space is petite but incredibly well designed, with all the comforts you might need, including a surprisingly good little washer/dryer. The studio was immaculate with every inch used thoughtfully a from a functional perspective, but also an eye for beauty. There were large windows around half the cabin that let lots of air and light in and made it feel like “glamping” in the trees because of its location on the larger property. Only wish we could have stayed...

“This was a lovely place to stay for a week; a quiet, clean attractive and cozy place with a deck to sit out & view the garden and woods behind. Eve is an excellent host and is there if needed for questions etc., but you have complete privacy. Close to town, restaurants, Acadia, and downtown. Highly recommend! (Can't seem to load photos, but place & surrounding ares is beautiful.)”
