“Wonderful home right on a quiet lake. We had access to a kayak and canoe, which my husband used to go fishing a couple times. The outdoor fire pit is great! The home was immaculate and as listed. The host was responsive when we had questions. We would love to go back with friends or family again.”

“Strongly recommended if you visit Acadia. I have spent very nice days there even with rainy and foggy days outside. All my family was impressed for the great house and facilities we found there. Thanks Shelley for doing things so easy We are living very far away (Spain) but if we have the opportunity we'll come back to your house.”

“The location was amazing with a view of the harbor and a walk-down dock. It was quiet and peaceful and yet had easy access to Acadia and all of the trails. Tremont is a quaint, friendly township which we enjoyed visiting. We had deer visit us, seagulls, and a pair of bald eagles. The cottage was well equipped and very clean and we could envision renting all 3 cabins for a reunion.”

“This was an amazing place to complete our month long trip to Maine! This home was spacious, clean, well stocked and in a great location. We were less than 10 minutes from Southwest Harbor, which is a great little town. It was easy to get around from here and lots of great hiking, eating, and exploring within minutes from the door. The house is on a fairly busy road, but that was never an issue and we were able to play with our dog off leash in the back yard, which leads down to the waterside....

“This place was so cute and made getting in to Acadia easy. My only complaint was it was listed for up to 6 people but there was an extra charge for more than 4 guests which wasn’t obvious until checkout. However we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay!”

“We stayed at this property for four days as part of a large group here for a destination wedding. The house was everything we expected and then some. We had eight adults that were very comfortably housed and the living area was wonderful for family enjoyment. The house was spotless upon arrival and everything works! “The host thought of everything! Kitchen items, furniture, bath toiletries, outdoor space - including the grill and firepit. It was just a wonderful experience. To add to that - we had the pleasure of seeing wild turkeys and deer scamper through the property. The night sky is also brilliant from this location. It was a short ride to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
