“Not a fancy hotel with a bunch of extras, but a very well-kept motel with attentive staff and more affordable than the fancy hotels. Everything in downtown Bar Harbor is walkable, and Acadia is just a few minutes away. A great home base for several days exploring Acadia by day and the surrounding communities at night.”

“The room has small spiders alive on the wall, and dead on the towels. The blind was not working and the room was pretty dark.”

“All the great reviews were spot on. This motel was close to both Bar Harbor and Acadia. If driving, both took less than 10 minutes to get to. You could walk into Bar Harbor as well. The room was very clean and very comfortable. When we are in the area, we will stay here again. ”

“We had a great stay at the Cromwell Harbor Motel. All of the staff we talked to were wonderful, and it shows that this is a family-owned establishment. The location is absolutely perfect - a short walk to town, but just out of town so it's very quiet at night. The rooms are huge and completely clean. All of the grounds, including the pool, look immaculate (although we didn't use the pool). Ample parking as well. Would definitely recommend!”
