“Beautiful place, beautiful room and amazing food. I was a little bit disappointed that breakfast has now become a buffet for the "continental" part of it, even drinks are self serve. When we were there before it was all traditional table service and felt a bit nicer. It was still a great breakfast I would just prefer the old way!
The outdoor pool was lovely and the spa was nice too. Views are incredible. Staff are veryfriendly and welcoming.Would definitely go back!”
“The Harbour Hotel Salcombe gives guests stunning views over the Salcombe estuary from both bedrooms and public areas. It is a bonus to be able to park the car and walk to the local shops and cafés. Staff were friendly and helpful. ”
“If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area I would recommend The Ring O’Bells. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with the things you need for a stay. Had a good night’s sleep, lovely to wake up feeling refreshed.
Rooms are up some metal stairs, no problem for us but be aware if you struggle with steps.
Breakfast was excellent. Recommend the Eggs Benedict!

“Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.”
“This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view”
“The property itself okay, but unclean. The bedding was clean, but the carpeted areas and soft furnishings were not. Crumbs on the sofa and visibly dirty dusty carpet, the mattress was deeply stained brown and filled with crumbs and food waste under it. Has some cute features throughout , however, the biggest issue with this property is the incredibly vile smell of drainage or sewage that permeates in the living room. You cannot be in that room without the windows open and spraying air...
