“This was our first stay at this hotel, the location was lovely and extremely close to the sandy beach. Our room was comfortable with a sea view and the food was excellent, including a family celebration lunch there. It also has access to a nearby sea ferry, and connecting tractor, which takes you to nearby Salcombe. The hotel has its own car park which was really helpful.”
“Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.”

While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. “The house is large, bright and well appointed with modern bathrooms. It has a patio within the complex but no view although there is a communal bench outside with a lovely estuary view which we used frequently.
It only has electric storage heaters which were impossible to work out hence the house was cold at times.
The allocated numbered car park space within the complex is on a slope and a dip so was totally unsuitable for our low car, scraped the front. We used a different space as it was...
