“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

AC units in several of the rooms. We only found heat in main room— not sure if just missed it or what but was ok. Didn’t have time to use...

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here.
