“While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”

“My husband and I were looking for a little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this place fit our needs. We loved the vibe of the converted schoolhouse. It was a spacious but cozy place to stay! The fireplace and hot tub were welcomed benefits. You can tell that they take care and take pride in the space. Kayla was very responsive to our questions. “We checked in on our own for just 10 minutes and left this place. Nobody present to welcome us. No wifi and or internet, all fridges were unplugged. Web everywhere. Trees overgrown on hot tub and pool and many more! ”

“The host was so welcoming! She left us chocolates, a small bottle of champagne, and a binder filled with information about the home and the town. Also, any question we sent her, she immediately got back to us. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed...an abundance of paper towels, toilet paper, blankets, towels. The house was absolutely adorable, and just what we were looking for on our girls weekend! Thank you so much for having us!”

“Having been born and raised in this area, I wasn't familiar with this location when trying to find a place close to family when coming back to visit. The address said Fort Plain, however it's in town of Danube, outside of St. Johnsville, not even remotely close to FP. Mind the location, as that wasn't a big deal to travel back and forth.
