“It was ok but as I booked online wasn’t expecting a £50 hit to cover damage as soon as we went to book in also we mentioned we might have breakfast but got charged at around 3 in the morning We did get our money back but think it’s a bit harsh that they just take it overnight”

“Extremely good experience at Horwood House. Everything from the greeting at reception to housekeeping was faultless. Stayed in a deluxe king room which was as expected but above all, very clean and well maintained. Would stay again if in the area. They had the most attentive and polite staff I've ever encountered in a hotel. ”

“The property definitely has the WOW factor in terms of location and access to the Silverstone facilities. However dont go with any expectation of self catering, minimal facilities which dont include a basic toaster and less than adequate utensils. It appears there’s an assumption that you will eat at the restaurant which looks incredible but quite costly if there for evening meal and breakfast!”

“Clean and very friendly staff. Unfortunately was a noisy stay. My room looked over the pub garden and the windows are old sash windows with a poor seal, so I could hear the pub garden revellers until closing.”

“The lady who greeted us and bar staff were very polite and friendly. Food was excellent. Room were ok, not in our opinion boutique, but quirky.Yes the beds are very squeaky. Rooms could possibly could benefit from a little TLC. Saying that the price and location to Bicester village was the reason we booked.The only other thing is the confusion over breakfast included. This could be an error of the hotel or the website. Nether the less, breakfast is not included. ”

“I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. “Booked on a last minute whim for a trip to the theatre in Aylesbury. Fantastic place - super friendly staff, high quality accommodation with a few extra nice touches on top. The breakfast was genuinely amongst the very best I’ve ever been served. Highly recommended place to stay.”
