Unfortunately the smoke free room had a strong smoke smell. The smell not something either of us could get used to. The staff was very helpful at check-in and the motel was convenient to the airport.

The staff was nice. The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed, a clean place to sleep for a weekend to attend a wedding! It was in close proximity to lots of shops, restaurants, etc. We especially appreciated the iron for our clothes, and the full length mirror for getting ready in the room! We would definitely stay here again.

Recent renovations make this place quite a nice place to stay! Super clean. Comfy rooms. Good breakfast and staff was helpful and gracious. Pool looked great too! Quiet and easy axes to I-85. Nice shower. No complaints. Well done, Clarion!

Our room appeared to be recently painted & clean. However, the refrigerator did not work. It was changed out w/n an hour of notifying the front office. The stopper for the tub was defective, but was changed out approximately 24 hours after notifying the front office. The outside ice machine closest to our room was out of service & one of the soda vending machines was out of service. The breakfast area was fairly large, clean & well maintained. However, the breakfast provided was minimal in nature & the exact same for our 3 day stay. This was different in comparison to other Clarions in which I have stayed in the past. We did fine out later this location was previously a Best Western & was recently changed to a Clarion approximately 3 months previously. Many rooms were in various stages of renovations. Hopefully, if we need to stay there in the future we would expect improvements.

Most of the property has been renovated, but it is still under construction. But it is very nice what they’re doing. The breakfast is just OK. They use the egg product in a carton. And the Wi-Fi needs a booster. It’s not very strong. But if you want carbs, they got a lot of those, waffles and cereal and toast.

The hotel was in the process of being converted from Best Western to Clarion. Evidence of on going construction was everywhere. Check in took way too long. The room was really not ready for people staying in it.

Never recieved response from Clarion after attempting to modify reservation, providing update of late arrival AND Clarion having canceled the reservation after collecting deposit because we were unable to arrive on time. Very frustrating, enough to reconsider booking travel in this manner in the future. A simple phone call would have been sufficient to reduce the stress and make this experience less painful.

Our room was very clean and the people that checked us in were great. I think the gentleman was new but he was doing great as was the person training him. The hotel was obviously being updated, so a couple of things would have been helpful to know when making the reservation on line; no elevator and TV was unavailable. Also, I understand it being rennovated but when we went to leave in the morning the stairs by our room were taped off. Again, helpful information like "hey the stairs won't be available" . We left really early in the morning for the airport, so can't really comment on any other amenities.

We had a very good stay. The motel is going thru major remodeling. Our room was remodeled and very nice. The lobby and breakfast loooked great. The breakfast was very good. There was a lot of remodeling equipment and material on the site, but it was clean and not noisey. I did not use the pool, but it looked great, the water was clear and the pool guy was cleaing the pool when we were there. We traveled with two small dogs. In the back of the facility there was a grass area and a fenced area for dogs.....very nice.......but wished this area was lighted at night. The price was right. We will be back.

Upon arriving to this hotel/motel, I had booked a non-smoking room. The room had clearly been smoked in as it reeked of cigarettes. I then went down to the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room. The second room did not smell like cigarettes but it did have an odd funky smell. The reviews stated that the rooms had been newly remodeled and it did appear to be relatively clean however the metal deadbolt at the top of the door was broken which as a solo female traveler did not instill comfort. I debated on what to do and as I went down to my car to retrieve my luggage I saw 2 sketchy looking men smoking outside their room just a couple doors down from mine. I would have to walk right past them to get to my room (with the broken deadbolt). So I waited until they went back in to come back up. I then propped the coffee table against the door and attempted to get some sleep. Ultimately my anxiety grew and I ended up collecting all my things and leaving just 30 minutes later to check in at a different hotel. I just did not feel safe there, it smelled funky and I didn’t want that experience to ruin my visit.
