“A quiet cabin on the river with spacious bedrooms and living room and loft. Sitting in the river with a drink was amazing and such a welcome relief from the Charleston heat we were looking to escape. We spent a lot of time on the porch relaxing and watching the wildlife (groundhogs, birds and bunnies). Pete was very easy to communicate with and helpful with local restaurants. ”

“Fantastic cabin in a secluded ridge top area. All amenities provided, which made for a very relaxing stay. You really can hear the soft sounds of a distant waterfall, which made outdoor chilling very pleasant. Very nice living room area.Owner communication was excellent and fast.The narrow, gravel road up a steep incline is not for the faint-hearted -- take their advice and make sure you have 4WD! ”

“The cabin was very easy to find and very convenient having a drive in and out driveway. Lots of room for parking even we didn’t need it all. The outside made you feel like you were in a fairy wooded landscape and so beautifully green! The property is just breathtaking and so relaxing in the trees. You hardly ever hear your neighbors or see them. The firepit in the front of the house was very well setup and great chairs around it to enjoy almost every night. So many lightening bugs to count when...

“Great cabin! We really enjoyed our stay. Our family of 5 and 1 dog fit nicely. Host was very responsive and had perfect suggestions when we asked. The property is as-advertised - great location, close to attractions, but calm and peaceful in the evenings. The cabin has a great porch, comfy bed, organized kitchen area with all that we needed. Lots of books, games, and DVDs for the family. Highly recommend the cabin and the Travelers Rest area!”
