“Service impeccable. Bill was such a lovely host. So helpful and passionate about letting us know what to do in the area. Offered us home made biscuits and coffee when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. The room was large and clean with a nice bathroom and coffee/tea in the room too. Breakfast was wonderful also. A short walk into town, maybe 15 minutes if that. Would highly recommend this to anyone. ”

“The internet was fine. We had a room that could have been cleaned a bit more and the glasses in the bathroom had toothpaste in one of them. The staff was easy going, easy to talk to. The atmosphere was relaxed, we enjoyed it very much. Our bed was not made the day after our first night either. But we were out all day, therefore it was not an issue.”

“We loved this place. The room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, and there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was great, as was the staff. The carpet was pretty worn on the stairs and halls, but everything else was in pretty good shape. We did have to park in the NCP parking lot a few blocks away, but that was no problem. And the location was wonderful-- for most of the Shakespeare activities, for the market, for the theater, and for great restaurants and stores. We would stay there...

“It was a delightful property, had all we needed. It’s in a quite location yet a only a short walk from the town centre, main attraction & the river. The people that own it went above and beyond our expectations. ”

“House was better than expected for a 600 year old building. Loved the courtyard outside and downstairs lounge area with all mod cons. Had trouble with the door in that it locks when shut and key was inside - had to call a locksmith! Maybe you can look at changing the type of lock so this does not happen to others.”

“Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. ”

“Pros: 5 minute walk to important locations, like the RSC Theatre, Shakespeare's Birthplace and Henley Street. Many good food spots in 5 minute walking distance. 15 minute walk to Stratford-upon-Avon railway station. Comfortable beds, nice staff, easy to find. Cons: Low water pressure on 2nd floor, no wardrobe”
