Kangaroos in the backyard!

Could not have asked for a better place at Halls Gap. Everything from Stephanie's warm welcome to the daily delivery of fresh bread and paper was fantastic. It was cold enough for us to enjoy the log fire and spa bath which also made our stay great. The ultimate though was the kangaroos that hopped through the yard each morning and evening to join the emus in the paddock! I totally recommend these villas especially to anyone who wants the experience of having 'kangaroos in the backyard'.

Very nice place with Open Fire Bread and paper delivered daily ,wood supplied cut and ready ,Spacious clean and comfortable .Kangaroos at the door with Cockies and Parrots just so relaxing .

Excellent facility

Booked through wotif for one night but staff were rude about it should have been a two night minimum- which was obviously not our fault! Paid wotif by credit card but staff wanted payment as they said they had not received payment from wotif- organization and administration is obviously lacking at this accommodation but facitlity was excellent! What should have been a fabulous night celebrating an engagement was made less enjoyable by the administration details

Top spot and friendly and helpful owners. Property was all we needed but is of older vintage and may not suit some clientele. We would certainly book there again. Most reasonably priced .

Comfortable and good location

Great set up with full kitchen, open fire and reverse cycle heating. Perfect for recent stay with below zero temperatures. Spa was fabulous after a long day of walking. Lots of native animals to be seen right outside the villa. Daily paper provided and also a fresh loaf of bread which was delicious.

Nice place to stay on your trip to Grampians

Stayed for 4 nights 5 days before Easter holidays. The place was nice and cozy and was close to Halls gap. The staff were very friendly. we stayed in a 2 bed standard unit. Love the fire heating with the logs as this was our first time using a fire heater. There were kangaroos, emu in the hotel grounds and also saw a deer as well. Would love to have a better children's playground. Will definately visit again

Nicely presented stations cabin. Loved being able to light the fire in the evening to keep us nice and warm overnight.

Squeaky floors and a rock hard bed

The place felt very old and run down. There were ants everywhere, the bed and the couch was like being on a concrete slab. After reading the villa's booklet I also questioned the cleanliness of the bedding as It read along the likes of, "please sleep between the sheets provided or there will be a laundry fee to wash the Doona" surely this is a good hygiene practice they should be in between guests anyway?! Location was beautiful though And I loved the touch or bread and the paper being delivered daily.

Close to the mountains.

Boronia peak villas was a nice place to stay in the Grampians. We stayed in a spa villa. Spa was great, large and very relaxing although water tended to go all over the floor especially as the spa was also the shower. Close too town and walking tracks of the Grampians.

Location is great. Treatment by staff disgraceful

Location and venue are lovely. Never been so poorly treated in my life. Smiling at patrons doesn't seem to be a part of the service. Manner is which we were spoken to on check in and check out was appalling. Never been treated like that any place in the world. Seems to be the way it is in Halls Gap culturally.

Exactly as we expected

Was great having a fire for a cold winter snap, service was great, staff were friendly, having bread and paper delivered each morning was awesome, they are starting to get tired, the staff said they are giving them a facelift soon though

Lovely cabin, walking distance to Halls Gap shops

Spent Queen's Birthday long weekend in one of the cabins at Boronia Peak Villas. A perfect place for a quiet, romantic get away. Beautiful surroundings, lots of wildlife outside your door and ready access to a range of walks. Loved the open fire beside the spar. It was great that management topped up the wood supply each day - sufficient fuel to keep it flaming all through the day and evening. If you are looking to have a break from the noise and hectic pace of city life, this is a place to go. So therapeutic.

Good self contained villas

The unit was quite clean and comfortable, and it was great to sit outdoors and watch the kangaroos and cockatoos. The milk, tea and coffee were not replenished during the stay, but the town is only 5 minutes away, so it was not too bad.

Nice country cottage

Situated about 2 km from the town centre at Halls Gap, Boronia Peaks is the perfect place to stay for your Grampians adventure. Quiet and picturesque these wonderful little cottages had everything you need. From fireplace, spa, veranda with BBQ and kitchen, there's even a swimming pool. It's special when you have kangaroos just outside your porch. Great experience would absolutely recommend anyone to consider staying. Ps wonderful hosts who deliver the morning paper and fresh bread every morning and aren't tight with the fire wood.
