The house was stunning, well taken care of. Had everything you wanted and needed. It’s very cozy, the fire place was great. CJ was excellent to deal with, answer any question very quickly. He provided all the information needed for the house and surrounding areas. Check in was breeze and there was bottle of wine waiting for us. Everything was clean and ready to go. Highly recommended this property.

The house is a beautiful log cabin and has a homey, comfortable feel to it. Very comfortable bed! CJ, the host, was very responsive. The back deck is small, but has a secluded feeling, even with it being in a neighborhood. Would stay there again.

A comfy home away from home

The house is gorgeous. We immediately felt comfortable. My boys loved the basement. They felt like they had their own apartment. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on in all the years that we have rented vacation houses. I can’t say enough about the total experience.

We loved our stay at Bear Pause Retreat. Comfortable, quiet, beautifully, and comfortably decorated with all the right amenities. The AC kept things cool, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the enclosed porch was perfect for morning coffee—especially with our Beagle safely by our side!Great host, great communication. We’d absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Happy days at Bear Pause Cabin

Ww had a lovely, relaxing time at bear pause cabin! Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. Also went to different small towns for day trips and went to museums, parks and antique shops! C.J. was wonderful and helpful with our stay at bear pause cabin!

Relaxing and luxurious!

Exceeded my expectations! The property itself was stunning- the cabin was spacious and had all the supplies you need from kitchen stuff, to extra blankets and pillows, to board games, to a cabinet full of contact information. Communication was always very clear and prompt. Lots to do in the area and on the complex itself! The clubhouse also has really good food and is very kid friendly! There was also another side that was adults only and singing karaoke so there really is something for everyone.
