We chose this as our central hub while we visited ME, VT, MA, CT, RI & NH. The proximity to the beach is great. The beds were comfortable and the shower stayed hot with 3 people showering.
It is a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are nice.
There were plenty of towels for the bathroom & beach. The toys & games were good especially for sand castles.
Downside:
There are no front curtains & anyone walking by can see right inside.
The sheer curtains in the bedrooms do not give any privacy AT ALL. It also wakes you when the sun rises (great if you're an early riser).
Since the porch is shared and directly facing the road it isn't feasible to sit out there in your pj's whilst enjoying a morning cup of coffee.
Suggestions if staying awhile or cooking:
Bring your own frying pan, TP, paper towels (only get 1 roll), cooking utensils, pot holders and spoons (only 4 were available)
The couch seats 3 comfortably and the rocking chair is unsteady. The table has 2 chairs & 2 benches.
*If you are disabled, which I am, there are 4 steps leading up to the porch and no other way to get inside. We were on the 1st floor.
There is a grade/hump in the house which I tripped/fell over most days since it is not noticeable & it is close to the lightswitch & bathroom, shortly after entering the house.
The shower gets very slippery, we had to purchase a mat so I wouldn't fall.
