“It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space.
Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering...

“Such great hosts! My kids (ages 7 and 13) and youngest nephew (age 17) absolutely LOVED it! They played piano, foosball, ping pong, and played outside on the swings and basketball court. The hosts were so welcoming and their dogs were wonderful as well. Perfect place for a family. Quiet and welcoming!”

“This is a very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean option for staying in the heart of Gettysburg. We found the parking behind the house very convenient as you can walk to any location in the town with ease- and sometimes it’s hard to find parking. Also the house itself is in very good condition with lots of room and amenities. We never once heard the people staying in the lower apartment. It felt very safe and private. Thank you for opening your doors and providing a non hotel option.”

“In for the weekend with friends and adult kids for our annual meet up. This home was by far the best place we've stayed in Gettysburg over the years. The location was perfect for hitting the downtown area businesses and restaurants. Very clean, well stocked, and the host was always reachable in a short time to answer any questions. Nice after a long day of battlefield hiking to come back and relax in the backyard and shoot a few games of billiards. This may become our go-to stay every time we...

“Beautiful home in a quiet, convenient location. The check in process was easy, parking available in front of the house and the home was well equipped with linens and cook ware. I was a little hesitant considering some of the other reviews complaining about the house being hot but the 2 window units provided was more than enough during a very humid summer weekend. Thank Todd for sharing your home!”

“This cottage is perfect. Everything from the private location to the whimsical decor was just what we needed for a great weekend getaway. The host was extremely responsive and let us feed the precious pasture pets carrots! We usually stay in town at the hotels but opted for a more private spot this stay. The cottage is clean, amenities plentiful, hot tub clean and relaxing, it was such a welcoming atmosphere and exactly what we were looking for. Definitely recommend and we will be back in the...

“This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay.”
