“We loved how close this house was to Stone Lake Beach. We walked to the beach and enjoyed the playground, the snack shop and swimming. We also had a great time visiting the Washington Park zoo. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you need. The back yard is so comfortable and we enjoyed a fire one evening. Such a quiet, relaxing place to stay. ”

“Our second visit here - beautiful welcoming home. Lovely decor, attention to detail, restful, quiet and a wonderful place to stay. The flowers greeted us as we walked up. Easy check in and plenty of space for each guest. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and plenty of places to rest. The washer, dryer, stove/oven, microwave and stocked coffee were great. We will return. “We enjoyed our stay at the 1888 house while visiting for the weekend. The beds were comfortable though I did wish some of the seating options were more aware of comfort rather than just looks, but we made it work with the couch! We would totally stay here again because it was by far the most affordable and cute little spot in the area. The host was super responsive and communicated quickly when needed. ”

In the middle of wine country too!Beds were A.comfy, Heather had great communication and recommendations, and having the fire pit was nice.
