Perfect Place For A Family Reunion!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is clean, comfortable, and fully furnished with everything we needed, and the yard is spacious and beautiful. Our host, Sheri Blackstone, went out of her way to accommodate us and to make sure that we enjoyed our visit. We could not have had a better time and look forward to returning. Five stars all around and most highly recommended to others!

Get away

Great quiet spot to enjoy Maine's mid coast. Very clean and comfy. No water view- but can walk to Stovers point for water or drive 5 minutes down the road for a beautiful sunset view over the water. Beds were so comfy!

Harpswell was Swell

Nice vintage cape home with plenty of dining space and a nice living room. Close to lovely hikes. We were here for a wedding which was close by, so this location was very convenient. Kitchen equipment could use some updating but things were clean and all appliances worked. Great communication with the host also.

Quiet Maine Retreat

There were a couple hiccups at the beginning of our stay, but Sheri, the property manager, helped us along the way. The house was cozier than what the pictures showed and the property is beautiful and secluded. It's about a 20 minute drive from Brunswick for supplies and eateries. And there is a secluded beach within a 10 minute walk to see the seashore. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in Maine with several people, this is a good choice.

70th birthday

Four sisters celebrating one of their 70th birthday. The house fit us beautifully. We each had our own bed and there was everything you would need for our long weekend. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen table was perfect for our nightly competitive board games.

Quiet Retreat

Very large house with large yard and lots of trees and gardens. Spent lots of time in the yard. Can't see the ocean but you can feel that it is there. There is a short walk to a nature preserve e that is beautiful at all times of the day. Harpswell is a lovely peninsula. The house was well equipped and we had a very nice time..

The area is very beautiful, quiet and lovely.

We were a group of 5 women ocean kayakers and spent from 9-4pm on the ocean. The house was in a great neighborhood, very well appointed with everything we needed. Sheri was super responsive and accommodating. We were very pleased with everything and feel the listing accurately reflects the description.

The perfect house for us

The renting process was very easy!!! Sheri was great with handling all of my questions. The house fit all of our needs. It had a first floor bed room which was great for my mom and was very spacious. The adults could be in the kitchen while the children played in the family room. The location was excellent. It was a short drive to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely rent this property again!!!

Nice family hideway

Very nice accommodations for family in a beautiful setting and in a great location. Roomy and comfortable with adequate amenities. A previous review mentioned a problem with the water but I believe they were not used to well water softeners. The water was fine for showers. We did use bottled water for drinking. I definitely would stay here again.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect except the water. It’s slippery and soapy. Nobody took shower cause the water doesn’t looks and feels safe at all. Please try to run water in the winter. So people can enjoy the stay fully.

Quiet Setting w/ Walking Distance to Coastal Views

Quiet getaway with great access to Harpswell / Brunswick amenities via a short easy drive. The house is not on the water and much of the water is protected by private property, so read Sheri’s tips for how to get to public areas if that is your thing.

June Mini-Vacation

The Hideaway was very clean, well-stocked with dishes, bedding, etc., and quite welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard was very private. Although you can easily walk to the beach in 5 or 10 minutes, we recommend driving over if you are carrying towels, food, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Clean & Comfortable

Thoughtful refreshments greeted our arrival at this clean and comfortably appointed home. The layout was ideal for our family. Given that our visit coincided with some of the hottest, most humid days of the summer, the living room A/C was our saving grace. And thankfully the bedrooms had ample fans. Nearby beaches and hiking trails made for enjoyable excursions. We appreciated our interactions with the property manager, and found her to be responsive and accommodating.

Great house in Harpswell

Our family enjoyed our 5 night stay in lovely Harpswell. The house is located in a great area walking distance to a pebble beach, short drives to a few local restaurants, and just 20 minutes to Brunswick. Easy to communicate with the property manager, prompt responses to any questions. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of dishes, servingware, utensils, cookware. The house has nice outdoor space as well: large lot away from other neighbors, quiet, fire pit, grill, table, chairs.
