  • Located in a private setting on serene Stearns Pond, this year-round cottage offers a comfortable and cozy stay. Perfect for nature enthusiasts, the property boasts a spacious yard for children and pets to play, with easy access to the nearby town of Bridgton. The level lot features a clearing around the cottage with a lawn leading to a sandy beach, surrounded by wooded boundaries. The water entry is gradual, with a few stairs and some grass and leaves in the wading area. Take advantage of the available amenities, including a dock that accommodates up to a 20-foot boat, a canoe, and a 12-foot aluminum rowboat. Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this nature lover's paradise.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean beautiful home. If you want privacy this is a rental for you. Amazing scenery with a beautiful view of the stars at night. Two issues accrued. One with no hot water, one with heat would not shut off. The professional/friendly service person arrived quickly and fixed both issues. The pond is small and the pontoon rental was not as enjoyable as it could have been. That is my fault for not verifying before my rental.

The cottage holds 6 adults very nicely with a waterfront that does as well. This wa. s our 3rd year renting there and are hoping to do it again next year

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect week at SPDIOR. This was the former site of our family's camp from the late 1960's to the early 1980's. The old camp is no longer there, but the newer cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. It was fun to see that the shed and the firepit I helped build were still there. The views are still spectacular, and the pond is still serene. Midweek, Camp Encore/Coda appeared to be starting up for the season, so we enjoyed faintly hearing some music from across the cove.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a WONDERFUL stay at this property, and working with Krainin - and esp Kris Martin - was an absolute pleasure. Krainin made everything simple and easy. The property was exactly as described and the pond was sooo peaceful. We are already talking about going back, and would definitely rent from Krainin again. Kris's responsiveness was amazing!

Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd summer that we have stayed at SPIDOR rental on Stearns Pond. The 4 bedrooms gives us space for our large family! It is very peaceful and clean. The music camp down the road is not overbearing and you hear kids practicing on instruments throughout the day. It’s a small pond with not much boat traffic which is nice for canoeing and fishing. The house is well kept, a big kitchen and a large deck for meals.
