“We were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. I booked this house in particular because it was close and had four bedrooms and two bathrooms and I needed a place to cook for Thanksgiving. We had quite a few issues as the house needs some updates. It doesn’t look quite like the pictures. There was not the proper bedding for this time of year so two of my people slept down on the older couch where it was warm. They also had one TV in the entire place which stinks if you want to go into...

“The home was in very poor condition and not clean. Hair in all the beds (the bed sheets weren’t cleaned before we arrived), brown handprints on walls, blood spots on the floor. Poor communication with the rental owner and we couldn’t get access to the home upon arrival and no response from rental owner when I reached out for help. I had to call the VRBO help center for assistance and they were finally able to contact the rental owner. I had to immediately change all the sheets, wipe down mirrors...

“The stay wasn’t bad, we got there to a broken couch so we were down a seat to sit in. However, my sister had dog fur on her from my brothers house and it transferred to the bed sheets and they charged 63 for “new” linens and extra cleaning. It wasn’t that much fur I have the pictures, this is excessive. Be mindful when staying here. ”

“This is a great property. We had 3 adults and plenty of room. It was nicely decorated and had many nice features above a 5 star rating! If we travel back to Chapel Hill, we will definitely try to stay here. The city bus stops almost by the driveway and it is free to travel on it. We rode it to the N.C. University baseball park each day. The second day, the bus was a few minutes early and the driver actually stopped at the driveway and honked the horn!!!! I just can’t recommend this place...
