I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers.”

“Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. “The rooms were clean apart from under the sofa in the Trow ,not sure if would class the Horsin as a deluxe Superior room but did as required as required an adjoining room . The step into rhe bath in Trow is quite wide and both myself and my fiancee slipped as the bath mat moved while getting in . Still no warning signs that the water is hot at the sink . Breakfast was good the bowls keeping the cooked food hot could of been hotter and had to put the toast through twice to get it to my likeing ....

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
