Spacious, clean, inviting, warm. Everything we anticipated and more. Spent most of the time outside hiking and enjoying the nature, but the evenings in the hot tub and playing games was complimented by the warm environment and calming surroundings.

This was a wonderful getaway. The property is tucked away on beautiful property. Very accommodating for our family which included infant to adult. The hot tub was as a nice add! The host was a great communicator and was very accommodating.We will visit again.

This was such a great experience for our family this past weekend! There were 6 adults and 7 children, plenty of room for everyone. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the wood stoves were great, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, including very comfy flannel sheets on the beds. Larry, our host, was very quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay. All 13 of us give this property a 10/10, and we would stay here again for sure!

Perfect Getaway

We had a great time staying at the lodge. Lots of room for the kids to roam and overall a really one of a kind place that we’ll definitely come back to.

A slice of heaven!

Just had my 4th stay at the Bavarian Cabin! It’s perfect for large groups or just a few people. It’s very private and cozy!

Rustic getaway in WV

We chose this location for a girls’ weekend. The property is very private with beautiful views! It is very rustic, perfect for a trip to the mountains/ woods. All beds are on the second floor, up a narrow set of ladder steps. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time away

Great Family Location

We came from several locations to attend a wedding and wanted to stay in a big comfy house together. The property was perfect and the host was fantastic. Absolute stay.

Great getaway

We have a group of teachers who get away to this cabin every year in the early spring. It's always a great location. Close enough to go out hiking or to Berkeley springs for people that want to do that, but plenty of space to hang out if you just want to rest and relax around the property.

June 27th through July 12th Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We couldn't have asked for a better location and Larry was phenomenal at responding to any questions we had. There was a total of nine of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely stay there again.

Met all our needs

Larry was VERY accommodating and helpful. The house and property have a charm to it that made for relaxing evenings. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Family reunion

We stayed for a week as a family reunion. 8 siblings & some spouses. The property was private & very peaceful. Location was great for day trips to Harpers Ferry, Shepards town, tubing on the river & shopping. We enjoyed our stay.

Quiet clean and cozy retreat

We celebrated Thanksgiving and had a fabulous time. Lots of room to unwind and enjoy the fireplace and the hot tub. Many trails to explore! The owner had everything ready when we arrived-we are looking forward to visiting again!

Weekend Getaway

This cabin was great for my friends & I to get together for the weekend with their kids. Plenty of room for sleeping & playing. The cabin is quaint & peaceful while being 25 mins from town. Larry was good about answering any of our questions.

Great experience

If you want a peace and quiet place this is the place you need. Everyone loves the place. This is my second time coming here and I came with my friends and everyone love it. They said that we will be back again next time.

Little orleans bike rally

It was an awesome place to gather with friends and family plenty of room for our 16 guests although the bathrooms were kind of small but OK for the period house. The overall home was excellent and the privacy can’t be beat. Will definitely stay there again for a different event the bike rally was a bit too far if people are going to do the same thing as our group.

Wonderful stay

This place is beautiful. Beds comfortable and furniture is comfortable as well. The space both inside and out was large and our big group did not feel crowded at all. Larry made check in and. Heck out a breeze As well ad giving us hiking and swimming tips.

Great place to get away!!

Massive. Unique. My group loved it. 12 adults of all ages in an epilepsy support group. Fireplace is wonderful. You’ll love it.
