“I planned this trip to surprise my husband for his birthday. He didn’t know that one of his friends and their family was staying with us. While we ate at one of our favorite restaurants Two Tire Taverns they walked up. They enjoyed the pool table and the kids loved the hot tube. While sitting on the back porch it was so relaxing that I was falling asleep in the chair. It had a lot of board games and cards. The location is perfect. ”

“The place was good! It was on one far end of town, but everything is fairly easy to get to. Plenty of walkable restaurants near by. I liked that it.was right on the river! There was an issue with gnats...everywhere inside. There were plenty of towels and kitchen necessities provided. They had snacks and coffee. That was great! The shampoo and body wash in the master bath didn't work, only conditioner. I had to message them and ask for the wifi password, it wasn't provided. Overall I really...

“Himmelhaus was the perfect mountain retreat for our family of six. It was cozy and comfortable with beautiful, whimsical decor. We loved the special touches like the outdoor movie projector and the hot air balloon scavenger hunt. Jeremy was a very responsive host and offered easy and prompt communication. We would definitely choose to stay here again :)”

“A very picturesque location. The owners did a spectacular job renovating the property to make it welcoming to guests. It was a great mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. The hosts are very friendly and very responsive and want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They also provided history of the house and a recap of all the work they put in to bring it back to life. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for something in the area. Or even just outside the area as you're not too far...
