“My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience.

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”

“The hotel was like home from home, all members of staff made us very welcome and were exceedingly helpful.
The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals, good ingredients beautifully cooked and the service was quick and attentive.
Our holiday was mainly to visit gardens in the surrounding area,, five of which were within one hours drive = heaven.
York’s Park and Ride was a 20 minute drive away and we spent a good few hours sightseeing and shopping,...

“Had such a wonderful stay this weekend with friends! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and well-maintained, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

“High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future.”

“El personal super calido y amable, en especial la chica que tienen en los desayunos, te hace sentir bienvenido y cuidado, solo que a mucho personal le hace falta su gafete con su nombre, lo cual es una pena y no se pueden identificar bien.
Los cuartos son espaciosos y las camas son realmente cómodas, pero es decepcionante la limpieza, la tina estaba extremadamente sucia, en especial el desagüe, no es agradable bañarse en un lugar así.
