“Excellent room with air conditioning which was a boon. Facilities were also excellent. Breakfast was good and parking on the premises. Would stay there again.”

“Friendly bar staff. Food was good. Chef’s night off and they still made dinner, although they did make us feel a bit guilty for having a friend join us who lived in Bourne. Quiz night, so good fun. Room was clean but bathroom was up some steps which was a bit tricky in the middle of the night. Rooms were quiet. Had a good sleep.”

“The Hotel is very good value for money. Great for an overnight stay. Rooms are clean although would benefit redecorating. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a heated towel rail and free WiFi. Ample car parking. The Hotel lacks Bar/Restaurant but a Buffet style Breakfast is available. This looks much improved from my first stay. (I have stayed five times at this Hotel) There is now a Bistro menu in the evenings, I am looking forward to trying this on my next visit.”

“Lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast!”

“A lovely quiet hotel. The room was enormous and had a brilliant TV. I just need a quiet sleep and a base whilst visiting sites. This was a good find. Thankyou”

“I always enjoy staying at this hotel however this was the first time I'd stayed in room 9, and I found the bed to bed quite firm. Apart from that no faults”

“Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line ”

“I had a very nice three night stay here. Comfortable bed and bathroom, nice breakfast and indeed bar and dinner, helpful and efficient staff and plenty of parking. I will be back for a couple of nights next spring, and will also try other hotels in the chain.”

“Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50”

“No issues with the room as usual, we have stayed there several times as we visit family nearby. My issue was the breakfast, as, ,although soya milk and gluten free bread was on menu, there was none available. Which is not acceptable if on the menu, when staff asked, we were told it had not been delivered. However exactly the same thing happened last time we stayed there. Not acceptable.”

“Quirky cottage, absolutely everything you would need for a long stay. Parking is a bit tricky but Sue the owner provides information on where to park. Handy for the Spoons 😊😊”

“We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!”

“The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked.”
