Was an amazing stay for couples, great views, off the main roads, but still easy to get to, close to Kaystone or Rapid City. Easily recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathtub was very relaxing. Also really loved the friendly cat that came to say hi to us after leaving our cabin. Thank you!

Awesome place

Definitely a place we would stay again, our host Richard was a pleasure to speak with in the morning having coffee on his porch, before we would head out for the day, would highly recommend

Far from every day but close to everything. This is a quiet place away from the busy streets but close enough to everything to be convenient. The stay was comfortable and perfect for two people. We met Richard and spent some time visiting with him which was a bonus for us. Keystone is a couple hairpin turns away as is Custer Park and Mt Rushmore. Five stars! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing vacation

We loved our stay at the McDonald farm . Perfect location. Peaceful would definitely recommend anyone coming to Custer /Rushmore to stay at this charming home .

Everything was perfect! Our place was clean and had lots of little added touches to make it warm and inviting. Great location to explore Custer State park, Keystone, Hill City, Mount Rushmore, caves and more.

Perfect place

We had an amazing experience in this little “cabin”! Would highly recommend staying here. Perfect for couples, you have everything you need. Location is great for all the local highlights. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Master Suite

McDonald Ranch Master Suite was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful and beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Richard MCDonald, the owner was fun and interesting to visit with. We would love to stay here again.
