“We really loved this lodge out in the Glen. It was super clean, easy to check in, and very tidy. Also, our GPS took us directly to Achanellan, so finding it was super easy. While we enjoyed the solitude, it should be noted that this lodge is a full 30-35 minutes outside of Ft. William. Single track, uneven roads and livestock make the journey both to and from the lodge take much longer than listed. “This large property is located in the heart of some amazing coastal sea paddling in Caithness. Massive sea cliffs, caves, arches, and sea birds just go on and on. This property allowed us to be all together, plenty of room for cooking, eating together and sleeping. Great views for after paddling cheer.”
