Another great stay, no complaints

Visiting the Highlands and staying at Vale Cottage has become an annual tradition for us. Everything about the cottage remains top notch and they recently upgraded the beds and TV's. The management team makes the process easy and while we didn't have any needs this trip, they have been very responsive in the past. We really can recommend a better place to stay in the area for a quiet weekend.

Perfect mountain retreat close to town

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin is close to town yet far enough up the road to feel secluded and relaxed. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we could need. I had to work a couple of days and the wi-fi worked brilliantly. Will definitely return to this cabin or another Elevate property!

We've rented Kristy's properties for almost a decade and wouldn't stay in Highlands in any other rental. Her thoughtful design details throughout, easy check in and prime locations make every visit our favorite. We're so thankful to her and her team for always providing the very best. Great Location, Beautiful Cottage

Vale Cottage provided the perfect getaway accommodations for our recent trip to Highlands. The location of the cottage is close to town yet secluded enough that we felt like we were miles and miles away. The cottage is beautiful. Everything we needed was provided. I love to cook, and we ate every breakfast at the cottage. The kitchen was perfect - everything a cook could want. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and common living area were great. Everything was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Most important, perhaps, it was very clean. We had a great time and would recommend Vale Cottage to others.

First Class Home Spend Time In The Mountains

We have stayed in Elevate Highlands properties in the past and we have always been super impressed with the quality of the homes. Vale Cottage was the perfect place for two people for a week’s stay. It was clean, convenient and all the amenities were first class. We highly recommend Vale Cottage.

Vale Cottage

Vale Cottage was the perfect get away for my anniversary. The cottage was clean, the owners gave us our privacy, and had everything we needed to ensure we had a great stay. We even saw a turkey hanging around with us all weekend! Such a great experience and I’m looking forward to staying again with elevate next time I’m craving a quiet escape.

Quick retreat from the heat

We had a great time as always at Vale Cottage this week. We left mid 90 temps for the high country. You guys are great host and we always enjoy seeing you. The cottage is everything you need for the stay in Highlands. It’s very close to town yet provides a mountain neighborhood environment for walking the dog or just good exercise.

Summer get away

Enjoyed another great trip to Highlands and our stay at Vale Cottage. I think this is our third trip staying here. The cottage is conveniently located minutes from downtown, hiking trails and waterfalls. It’s a great place to escape the heat of summer. We look forward to coming back soon.

Perfect Place

Place is amazing. The host are the nicest people around. We will be back!! We are thankful we found this place. The location is perfect! We cannot say enough nice things to say about the place and the host. The porch is fantastic. All around 10/10.

Beautiful and enjoyable !

This property was so well decorated, super clean and literally had every amenity we could have needed! We were there 5 days and did not want to leave! Thank you to our hosts for creating a lovey, peaceful environment. It was just what we needed and look forward to our next trip!!

Sooooo Relaxing!

This property is exactly as described: a beautiful cottage surrounded by woods. You are close to town but far enough away to experience the peace. If you haven't stayed in one of the Elevate properties, it's a must. We have never stayed in a place where the owners are so accommodating.

Refreshing!

Don't you appreciate when things are actually BETTER than expected? Thank you for another great stay in another Elevate Highlands Cottage. From our "easy peasy" after hours check-in, to the oohhh so comfy linen & mattress, oh yes, they have walking sticks, to the absolutely perfect weather (Kristy, how do you do it???), our stay was simply refreshing. We'll see you again soon.

Vail Cottage escape

Vail Cottage is a great place for the active family. We have stayed here multiple times now. It is close to down town shopping, great food and ice cream. There are many hiking trails and water falls in the area. The cottage is a great place to come back to after an outing and relax on the screen porch. If you want to cook in, it is equipped with everything you need. The owners are great folks and they truly want their guest to have a great time.

Great Getaway for Friends and Family

My mom and I stayed three nights in Vale Cottage. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. The mountain top location has great views. We even saw wild turkeys while we were there. The location is minutes from everything in Highlands, but in a calm and quiet spot. The dual bathroom with a Jack and Jill shower was perfect for anybody who wants to share a cabin, because each room has its own toilet and shower access. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely stunning retreat location

Faye and Bill have a beautiful home . It is new, clean and they go the extra mile. The sheets are soft, towels are plush and decor very peaceful and tasteful. The screen porch with rockets is private and perfect place to enjoy nature. We will be back for sure! It is less than 2 miles from town.

Perfect home away from home.

We rented the Vale Cottage for a week in August with our two doodles. We felt at home the moment we walked in. The high ceilings and abundance of natural light were very appealing. The King bed was very comfortable and the linens were great. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners/property manager Kristy, Bill & Fay who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this property without reservation.
